The irony is, your version is probably more functional and capacious than the real deal XD. Very nicely done though! Doing real world aircraft with SE's block grid system is...challenging.

The reason I didn't use the supergridded flight seat s because the LCD panel stuck out of the sides of the fuselage. Looking back, perhaps I could have stuck on a passenger seat on a rotor or even supergridded a passenger seat, but I don't have a blueprint of one of those.

I'm at a loss about the one mod used for the flight seat, but nothing a bit of supergridding can't fix ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Yeah, I originally made an F-35B and wanted to make it function like you described in vanilla, but the scale was too small for it to really work, so I converted it to an -A

woost- I would suggest using a conveyor hinge for the rear nozzle. Also, the F-35B has a slightly shorter cockpit than the -A, so watch out for that. Also the H2 gen is directly behind the cockpit so you would need to redo the internals ;)

spirit- I will indeed consider it, although at the moment I am more focused on modern jets.

I'm going to have a go at making the VTOL parts work. Opening flap behind the cockpit to expose the vertical engine, and have the rear engine rotate 90 degrees down. Weekend here we come.... ;)
