F-35A Lightning II -USAF-

The F-35A Lightning II is a fifth generation stealth combat aircraft designed by Lockheed Martin Aeronautics for the Joint Strike Fighter competition. It is the first multipurpose stealth fighter ever made, and is intended to replace USAF F-16s and F-15s and complement the F-22 Raptor. Over 410 aircraft have been built as of this month, with the initial unit cost of 89.2 million USD.

This Space Engineers replica is painted as an F-35A of the USAF 58th Fighter Squadron operating from Eglin AFB in Florida. It features armament of one 25mm rotary cannon and 4 rocket pods. It is not intended for survival use in this state, but can be modified to work in survival with aerodynamics and/or some thrust retrofitting. It features no exposed thrusters, and does not require thruster damage to be turned off.

The original airframe is by yours truly, with afterwards modification and polish by the fabulous PrimoSuperT. Credit also goes to Primo for the screenshots and thumbnail.
