Yeah, you're 100% correct, the idea behind this map definitely didn't work out within Vagante and the editor's limits.
Still, I made it because I wanted to play around with an interconnected level design a bit, and since people seem to continue downloading it, I don't want to suddenly remove the map from the workshop.
Can't really do much with it at this point since the devs seemingly moved on long ago, so no more updates for the game or the modding tools. Also, I don't even have the map files or interest in it anymore.
The map is too big and doesn't work with online multiplayer, if you wanted to play it co-op, you either have to be on the same PC, or use Remote Play Together.
Glad you liked it. I was thinking about tinkering with it some more, but I haven't touched Vagante in two years, and I think I stopped working on it due how annoying and limited the editor and engine were. Still, might have to finally fill it up with some more items as I wanted in the past
I'm not sure if there even was an update to the game since I posted the last version to be honest, I haven't touched it in ages. Are you sure you're launching it correctly?

I don't really know, varies from person to person. If you want to explore the entire map it might take you a bit
Unless some patch changed something, it should be working on singleplayer or local coop (online coop will crash), and the map is about as finished as it could be with the very limited editor this game offers. It's jank, it's unbalanced, it has plenty of issues such as bosses leaving their arenas, but you might enjoy it for what it is.
If it crashes on singleplayer, then I really don't know why would that be, since AFAIK the game wasn't patched after I released the last update, and the map worked for me and several other people just fine.
I might at some point, assuming that I can retrieve the files from Steam cloud. I've lost all most of the stuff on my HDD when my PC died recently.
In the editor on the far right side of the top bar, next to the workshop menu, there's a dropdown menu simply called "More", click on it and select "Resize Act"

- The knight sprites that you see on the screenshots are my personal ones that aren't included with the map (sadly, you can't do that at the moment). I could probably make another custom knight skin loosely based on the reference images you've linked, I can't promise anything though
Hi, glad that you took a look at my map. As for your questions:
- The map isn't that long yet, I myself can loot everything and kill all bosses in 30-40 minutes, but take in mind that I have all zones pretty much memorized, so I'd say I can do it significantly faster than a first time player. I tried to add the savepoint, but it's kinda broken in the editor and simply doesn't work when placed on the map.
- If you die, you will respawn next to the last bonfire you came across. Make sure to walk past them, there's an invisible checkpoint trigger that saves your spawn point. Also, I'm aware that one of the checkpoints reaches a little bit too high and you can accidentally trigger it from floor above, I'll fix this in the next update
* My big brother and I, want to play it, but some times we don´t have enought time. Is there a save state we can share in coop online?. I mean, can we save our game?
* If we die, can we load an save state / save file and continue the adventure again?
* Is there any possibility you can change the knight sprite in something like this?:
