I get stuck at 15 MPH for seemingly the entire route with an FL9, any idea how to fix?

DomeFish: It worked. I was able to also backup and reinstall some scenarios I made a couple of years ago and have no issues so far. Any clue if this was a permanent fix or did you have the issue arise again?

@WheresMyBurrito I was having the exact same problem and managed to fix it simply by doing a clean reinstall of the route. Unsubscribing and resubscribing won't be enough; you'll have to unsubscribe, then go to Railworks\Content\Routes and delete the folder that starts with "6ad24555" (back up any scenario folders that you want to save, but I'd recommend just deleting those to and either re-downloading or remaking them). Then, resubscribe to the route. After that, it should work.

PennCentral670: I tried clearing cache and no luck sadly. If you need the area where it specifically crashes, it's somewhere approaching the first W marker heading towards Beacon coming towards a curve. It's about 3.75 miles away from Beacon after leaving New Hamburg. I assume this also happens when heading towards Albany. Somewhere in that area is where it crashes. In case you're able to get it fixed, this is the area. But I do understand if you may not be able to since TSC updates seem to break a lot of things nowadays.

WheresMyBurrito: I will try but it seems more of a random issue that happens upon other users when the route crashes in different areas. Best is to just clear cache and reset the game as Railworks has not been at its best lately.

Just like the 2 people who posted a comment here in July, I also have an issue with the route crashing between New Hamburg and Beacon. I never had that issue pop up until last month. Can't seem to find a cause for that but wanted to let you know to see if you can look into this issue. Happened to me when trying out a Standard scenario I created so I am not sure if this happens with other scenario modes.

I just finished a Quick Drive scenario from New York Penn Station to Schenectady and the game didn't crashed.

Hi, I love this a lot, but theres a problem. Between Beacon and New Hamburg, specifically in the Chelsea area, my game crashes every time. I'm not sure why...

Also you can actually take any work shop route in the Hudson Content folder and drop it into this route! This would allow you extend these into Albany or Poughkeepsie allowing you to simulate a full operating run of both AMTRAK and Metro North Crews! Runs to Schenectady are actually good for rescue runs, the proposed Commuter Rail link, and summer festival shuttles!

I am working on a rework for two AMTRAK scenarios for the route! The first will be an update to the Summer of 2018! The second will be a reworked fictional Lake Shore Limited Scenario also operating into Grand Central (which never actually happened)! I am having issues with train 448 taking the consist down the Post Road Branch instead of leaving it for the P32 to take it over! Hopefully you guys would like the rework! Heads up though as you'll need quite a few add ons to make the scenario work!

Are there any scenarios for this route?

Now that this has been out for a while, would you consider extending/modernizing the current DTG Boston and Albany route? (Boston to Albany Rensselaer/Selkirk including the full Post Road branch) Seems there are not many folks with your talents. Thanks again!

Of course, you can also do what I do: subscribe, find the subscription folder, extract the scenario somewhere, unsubscribe, subscription goes poof, scenario stays where you put it. Also shows as an Official scenario.

mimar - as you found out, never use the Workshop menu. Steam likes to add tags to try to promo shit you don't need because they want their cut for publishing stuff you don't actually want. They did it with a York-Peterborough scenario pack, they did it with the Metropolitan Line, then something else, and then the Wessex Line. Often it was before the item was released (Wessex and Metropolitan a month and a half in advance - each!), meaning no one had it except through the JT site; one of my own items got tagged with the scenario pack in error, too. Either a problem with DTG tagging it as a default item by accident during QA testing or a problem with the Workshop done manually by Steam to try to create sales. Both blame the other. Mysterious.

You can manually edit out bad tags from scenarios, and I think also from routes, by editing the correct files directly. ScenarioProperties and I think RouteProperties. Heck, remove all tags!

@ajptech Are you still having this issue? I have the exact same crash in the exact same spot every time---it used to work fine, but I suspect that the most recent update broke something.

I was doing a quick drive scenario from Croton Harmon to Albany. When I was between Beacon and Poughkeepsie stations, the game crashed and an “out of memory” error popped up. Has this happened with anyone else?

My bad. I can NOT DRIVE w/out the full DLC as a workshop item. Horray I CAN continue to play as Quick Drive. Love rolling under West Point!

I had this great workshop item working just fine PRIOR to the recent update. It had not ALL, but did have the recommended DLC installed. Now with the update..and NOT having Donner Pass nor Norfolk S. C.D. ... will NOT allow DRIVE from subscribed workshop menu. Darn shame!

Reworked scenery and vegetation along both lines which include:
-In Cortlandt & Peekskill areas on the Hudson Line
-The addition of Bannerman's Island Castle near Breakneck Ridge
-Between Haverstraw and Highland on the River Line, most significantly in Stony Point, Bear Mountain & Newburgh
-The addition to Newburgh with the accurate track elevation

ChrisReb: Weird, try using a compatible loco, and the destinations vary, especially if using an electric. Diesel you can go anywhere.
