I dropped out around season 4, I had gotten sick and tired of the fandom.
Look at it this way - if you can't stand these characters, you can now crush them in your CIV 5 game.

Yeah, not even the .civ5mod file is appearing when I try and resubscribe. It's definitely downloading SOMEWHERE, just not into the mod folder?

After a long and arduous process, I finally discovered that this mod was causing a conflict with the Communitas pack, causing a crash when starting a game. The culprit is the sql responsible for making the trait-building invisible and removing it from the civilopedia (And I don't know what the cityview and civilopediascreen lua files are for, I couldn't figure them out).

Good news though! In BNW, there's a new way of making buildings invisible and unlisted in the civilopedia, using xml.

As explained in that thread, all you have to do is set GreatWorkCount to -1 to make it invisible, and set PrereqTech to NULL, Cost to -1, and FaithCost to -1 to make it unlisted in the civilopedia.

HTH. I have a soft spot for all the pony civ mods, and after discovering Fluttershy was BNW playable at last, I didn't want to have to play without her.

Does one need brave new world? This might be a stupid question but I'm new so whatever.

A reupload is required as the download does not currently contain all the proper files, this would be a simple fix for the creator. I would like to upload a version myself, but I make no promises.

It's not working for me.
I play on a Mac so I need to go through a few extra steps in order to use mods but when I try to unzip this one it says it's corrupted. I haven't had this problem with any of the other mods I've used so I'm not sure what to do about it. Is there any way I you can post an external link to the files? (like Mediafire)

It would be so awesome if you could change the layout of characters to make them into ponies, it would seems like a lot of work and effort but i'd be worth it.

I bet there should be some collection of civ mods that would replace every civ with a pony equivalent from FiM. It'd be awesome that way, plus no civilization interfering. It's just a group of us would have to sit down and consider realizing such an idea very patiently and reasonably, gifting a slice of paradise to all us bronies out here.

ok i think i might know why people can't get this mod - what civilization does fluttershy replace? because each civilization mod replaces another AI/default civilization and if someone has 2 mods that replaces the same civilization, then only 1 mod will work. for example one of the mods i have replaces Rome, if fluttershy also replaces Rome, then only pre-existing will work.

if you could say in the description what civilization Fluttershy replaces (and maybe if people read this) then all the "this mod doesn't work" problems could be explained

Okay to adress all questions in the comments. Thanks to the comment of Murphy613 I will be updating for BNW soon. I'm not sure about vanilla, I'll have to figure out what to take out of the script.

And if it doesn't show up in your mod list I'm sorry, I wish I could help but I can't. Your best bet is googling your problem.

I admire your attempt to bring Fluttershy into the pony civs! Sadly I use BNW and can't use this, but it is a wonderful attempt nonetheless. I hope you're able to improve your modding ability and I expect nothing but good things from you in the future!
