我明白了！我利用一个简单的火箭试了一下，相同面积不同形状的机翼，相同攻角所受阻力是一样的，但是大S型边条翼可以额外存100的液体燃料。如果这部分燃料放在别的地方的话，原版气动下阻力和体积有关，就会增加体积从而增加阻力，这就是它能减小阻力的原因。

影响因素挺多的，难说是为啥，只能想办法继续减阻

好的吧…我又试了试，好像还是不行，引擎推力总会莫名其妙降低。感觉是你用的大航天飞机边条翼比普通的机翼阻力会低一些，所以就飞上去了？

也有这可能，那样的话配平力矩大，控制面大角度偏转会增加阻力。另外我有些设计甚至都不能5度爬升，得先平飞突破400m/s...

哦哦，好的多谢！爬升的话我是前期5度后期自动抬到10度的。我又想到一个原因就是我这个重心和推力中心好像在竖直方向上有一定的偏差，我再去改改

纯属好看与合理性，游戏里一个预冷器就够了，现实中预冷器不可能单独用于进气。低推重比空天飞机需要小角度爬升甚至贴海平飞加速，你是怎么飞的？

请问我能问一个设计方面的问题吗。就是为什么这个会加这么多进气道啊（如果只是为了满足进气量，1个预冷器就够了）是因为进气足了能增加推力吗？
我设计的类似吨位的空天飞机速度增加到350m/s就不再增加了，引擎推力还持续减小…所以就一直不知道原因，是进气道少了还是机翼少了等。

It should accelerate with ~8 degrees constant pitch, so that it:
1. gains enough speed in dense low atmosphere (opposite to steeply climb to higher altitude and then level out)
2. only breaks the 400m/s mark at slightly higher altitude (less drag).

Looks like subscription for this craft is OK, it appears normally. The SKYLON and TEMPEST II are indeed invisible in my craft list and need to be manually put into SPH folder, but it's not the case here.

I suppose it has something to do with our Steam Clients...

Or you can go and chedk C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\220200\1752435309, it should be downloaded and stored there, but Steam *thinks* it's not there.

Oh gawd, am I being hacked? Honestly I'm a bit scared.
I thought this problem appeared after a certain occasion around August this year, might be because of I installed some kind of mod. But your comment shows that even a craft uploaded in May 2019 (and stays untouched ever since) gets affected as well. This makes zero sense.

I downloaded this and when I try to select it in the SPH or VAB it doesn't work. Any idea on why this might be? It happens with all your craft I try to download whether from the workshop or from KerbalX.

Well, what I tried to say was that you pull nose up when the craft achieves 100m/s on the runway, than aim for 8 degrees pitch and fly to space. I think there shouldn't be thrust/fuel problem but KSP is known to be buggy...I'll also consider re-writing the instructions now that it seems to be unclear.

Well now that Im reading it again, it says keep 100m/s. I was just flooring it at 8' And ran into thrust/fuel issues.

I just gave it a test flight, nothing changed from my descriptions...could you describe the problem you encounter instead of just saying a craft that achieves orbit "slow"?

I was looking at the pictures and i saw some extra buildings is this an old version or a mod or something it looks cool so figured id ask.

I think it's possible to replace the batteries with small science instruments, but I'm not sure where to place that Lab Junior thing without influencing CoM. Anyway, this is only designed as a tiny passenger shuttle, I'd recommend using the ESN-99 ALLIGATOR for science missions.

Would it be possible to retrofit this with full science?

Yeah, RAPIER requires quite some research, I rushed that branch in my career and left many others behind XD

i love this ssto's design but have yet to try it as i need to unlock things in my careir save to fly it. looks nice as a crew transport.
