That's a project that's branched off this one, you don't need both to play shieldwall. I'd suggest sticking with the reforged one, as that is currently being actively developed @RedBack

@wp071360 It is totally playable. It's not finished because some factions have missing mechanics. But it's much better than vanilla game. I've spend hundreds of hours with this mod

@Envahisseur du facteur I cant say for certain whether or not it even works with Radious, but you dont need to even be using Radious with Shieldwall. Also, you need to go and subscribe to the new Sheildwall mod; Thrones Reforged.

What version do you need to run to play this mod?

To Observer, I am currently playing as Dyflin, I try not to get into long conflict early, especially with a stronger faction. I focus on developing farmlands and fishing early and also other industries for economy while maintaining a moderate sized military. In my current campaign, I almost control the entire Irish eastern coastal provinces and some interior ones, with holdings in Wales and Cumbria. I maintain 1 large unit with 4 additional moderately size forces on both sides of the Sea.

Also to everyone, the Mod needs to be brought into Date, it's says out-of-date and may cause conflicts.

I just finished my first playthrough and thought 'well, something's missing...' then I discovered this mod. Thank you for making this and I hope you'll continue work on it. :)

What do you all do to keep control of provinces, especially the farms (since food is so critical in this mod) Do any of you all have suggestions for countering this?

The mod is no longer being developed however it still plays great. I spent the week and played 3 different campaigns and it still works as intended.

Subscribe to it above first. Then run the game. On the first screen before the game even starts look for Mod Manager. Open mod manager, you should see the shieldwall mod. Slide the toggle to on position.

Pastaman, the legitimacy mechanic has been disabled I think. The guy who made the mod disabled a few things with the intent to put them back in. However I read on reddit that he is no longer in the community and the mod is no longer being updated.

@Redmonkey_17 there is 3 viking invasions if I'm not wrong. One in the south, one in the east and another in the north

I've destroyed the viking invasion fleets and didn't get the ultimate victory, I then destroyed the other "sea viking" factions and still didn't get it. Is this a bug?

This mod is dead. Stop wasting time playing it, there are other mods in this workshop.

Crucible of Kings is pretty good when coupled with the Anno Domini reskin mods.

This mod tanked my campaign fps. I thought it was the game itself, until I tried disabling this mod and my fps went back up. Just something to be aware of, for those having performance issues.
