According to the unpacked file, your edit spans lines 2370 to 2381, while theirs is the single line 6. I'm leaving a comment on both mod pages for informational purposes. Removing one mod allowed my game to load normally.
@Bagheera Magaro it's been a long time since your comment but i want to let you know that i see it and that i will fix the issue with the object names as soon as i am able to take the time to do it. i may even rename everything with a special "tag" so to speak so that all my objects will be sure not to conflict with anything else, something like "goldendoormfm.object"
in the meantime, again, thank you all so much for everything, i appreciate it more than you all know!
Ran a full-text search of the mods I have installed, figured out that mod number 730686575 (Print & Pack 3.6) has a goldendoor item as well. There might be other conflicts too.
Random war decorations like mounted turrets, boards for windows, placable guns, remains, mortars, that kind of stuff. this mod would help me a lot because im making historical battle reenactments and there is just not enough to make it feel like a warzone. i cant seem to find a mod compatible for mac that contains these types of items. So i would be honored if you could help me with this. thanks
What's interesting is that I use FU and never had any issues, though I did update to the 1.4 player.config because I, of course, thought I had to have it there. :P
Anyway, I did delete it and it's fine, just like you said. I'm a bit embarrassed, especially thinking of how many people had their game crash after installing my mod. So, seriously, thank you for taking the time to point out my mistake, and doing so kindly. :)
Since the mod is already correctly using player.config.patch and the player.config is just the default, the stray player.config can be safely deleted by the mod author.
I just read a thread on reddit where a few people were having the same issue with the same error, and some suggesting that it may be FU, which hasn't been updated for 1.4 yet. So, unless all those people had my mod installed (even if they did, they said they uninstalled all their mods), I'm fairly certain that it's not the issue.
So, I think we will just have to wait and see what happens, I'll be waiting here for FU to be updated and will try again to run the game. If the problem persists, I will continue working to fix the issue.
I'm going to start up my game right now to see if I'm having any issues and I'll let you know what happens. If you do see an error about one of my items in your log, all I would have to do is rename it. Easy fix, so let me know!
And also, I made a little mistake so I had to revert back to the last version for a few minutes, but everything is good now! Just wanted to let everyone know, it was actually just a problem on my end. Oops :P
I just updated this mod and I wanted to let you all know about here.
I updated the appearance of most of the furniture sets, so now they are much brighter and more defined.
Also, I changed the name of the crafting station to "The 'More Furniture' Catalogue" so that it would not appear at the top of the list at the Inventor's Table. It took me a while to realize that that might bother some people.
I hope you like the changes, and thanks for all your subs/favs/ratings/etc.!
Someone else actually mentioned this, they said "darker outlines" but I believe they meant the same thing. I said I agree, and that things looked more contrasting (less flat) when I was making them. I'll go back and try to adjust some things now that I've had a chance to play with what I've made.
...LOL, about that, I wasn't satisfied with my own designs so, yes, I used the fractal tool. :P Like I said, now that I've gotten to play, I'll go take another crack at it.
The paintings and plushies are my favorite too. :) The contemporary will get a rework too, as with the other sets that aren't textured enough. The camo as well.
I kind of agree about the pillows, but in my experience, most bed sets have matching sheets/pillowcases, but maybe that's just the ones I buy. So I may keep them as they are, but they will also look better after I fix the colors.
Thanks for the feedback and thank you for your subscription!
to give the illusion of shadows being cast up against them could help fix this.
Also, is the flame set just you using the fractal tool from paint.NET? It does not look very good.
The paintings, plushies and contemporary set are my favorite. Though imo the textures on the contemporary set could use more detail.
Also, the camo set would look way better if it used a less saturated color scheme. A more dull green would work better.
Almost all the beds you made need to have pillow colors changed because they are identical to the bed sheet color and look like one continuous object.
I hope to see more from you in the future and thanks for the mod!
I still appreciate the honesty; you don't like my stuff and I expected some people wouldn't. That doesn't mean you should call someone's work an eyesore, though. Just don't subscribe.
And to Gabers100, thank you for your enthusiasm! I was looking for huge furniture mods too, so I went and made one myself. :) I hope you enjoy it!
To Valkaerie, thank you for your feedback, it made me laugh. I went a little crazy with some of my creations, but I will remember for the future to tone it back a little bit. :]
And Bodoc Calado, thank you for your suggestion. The problem is that the sprites will use many shades of the same color, so things appear much more contrasting when making them versus actually seeing them in game. I actually thought the same thing while working and I'm glad someone else pointed it out, so I know that it wasn't just me. I will definitely remember this for the future.
