The keyboard can be made more responsive to quick repeated key presses by resetting the hold variable on touch-up events.

Just adding a few lines of code to the script can accomplish this:


-- add this before the "inpd = input.getBool(1)" line
inpu = inpd and not input.getBool(1)
if inpu then hold = 0 end

I honestly don't like the delay required between pressing keys on the "keyboard." Especially when a larger vessel is spawned and the server simulation speed has slowed to compensate hardware constraints.

You should be able to just load it in, the only difference is the battery has no function in non-advanced. Otherwise should work fine.
