do these pengukins have the same voicelines as the original penguins? I've seen the penguins inspect certain objects with their own dialogue. I was wondering if this mod had some, if not all of them!

I am not actively working on this mod at this time. Maybe someone will patch some goodies in someday.

penguins in real life has variety of body patterns and some have yellow parts around their necks and yellow plume on their heads.

it would be nice if you add some aesthetic of real life penguins into this race to make them have more identity.

Penguin Piracy Reborn, is not doing anything, currently no public development has been made in the 13 days since the last update and this mod is not supposed to do what Penguin Piracy is doing, this being a happy little humanoid race while PP has something completely different with a whole different concept. Comparing the 2 is like comparing a rock and water. There is no need to be so rude.

After downloading the mod and playing around with the pengukin, i've realised that making new scan descriptions for them would kinda be a waste of time, not because no one uses the scanner or something, but because the pengukin has already gone down the "they're avians but they look like penguins" route

To truly make them the tech-savvy space-age pirates I want them to be, they'd have to get a new ship, (that looks either like a UFO like dreadwing's, or like a pirate ship) new starter clothing, and new armour to match their new identity, basically overwriting all the work you've already done, which means i'll have to rip-off your race mod and instead make them pirates, which isn't what I signed up for.

Yeah but that's not all they're about, judging from my interactions with penguins they seem like tech-savvy space-age pirates, which is what the wiki also says, which could lead to unique interactions when scanning things, like using pirate vernacular and phrases

I'd do all the interactions myself, if i knew how to mod :(

I'm pretty sure you can ask em and they might make a patch, I am not sure. I have no idea how to implement stats for races.
