Hmm... Back when I made these, they worked fine. You could try reworking the wheels to have only 3 pair of wheels with bigger gap between them.

arent the wheels to close to each other ? i couldnt place them unless i put one all the way to the up to be able to place it. Now when i have them they run intoeachother all the time

@Nesano I've seen that happen at times in multiplayer but not really on singleplayer.

It doesn't work perfectly in singleplayer, the wheels rub together and get forced above and below each other.

@Maey My guess would be that most people try this alone in singleplayer and on server things can be a bit more unstable. So where in singleplayer this setup works perfectly, in server it might not. Though I do remember using this on server without any problem a long time ago.

Yeah, that's what we did... I was just wondering, since it apparently works for other people without needing that modification, what we were doing wrong. Or weren't doing right, as the case may be.

@Maey You could just rework the wheelbase so it has 3 pairs of wheels instead of 4.

Is there a trick to getting the wheels to not just rub against each other and clang? We tried this on my server and had to remove two of the wheels just to get it to move decently, even with steering off.

@Coscoluds That can happen at times, though I have been able to get around it every time quite easily by grinding of the wheels (in case only some wheels are spawned when the suspension is created), then selecting all wheel suspensions from the terminal and pressing the "add wheel" button. If not all of the wheels are spawned, repeat by removing the wheels and pressing the "add wheel" button.

any one getting an issues where they cant place wheels? how do i fix it?

This is a blueprint for a vehicle and not a stand-alone mod. So installing it on a server doesn't do anything but take up space. In order to get it onto a dedicated server you'd need to subscribe to it client side and then as Smokki said either spawn it in using the blueprint menu (F10) or projecting it and welding it up.

The steam workshop doesn't do a very good job of explaining this. I hope this helps.

@devil3075 Hey! Sorry for the late answer. I'm not completely sure what the issue is. This is a blueprint so you can add it to your game from the blueprint menu (F10) in creative mode or in survival mode you need to build a small grid projector block and from there to load this blueprint and to build it based on the projection.

Added this MOD to my server and when loading, the server shows and indicates it installed the MOD, but when we join the server with our characters we are presented with an error of the MOD not loading. Any idea why this would be?

@Mr Teeny Weenie Thanks :) You can see all of the toolbar keys listed in the cockpit LCDs, 2 is to lock/unlock the rear connector 4 is to view the rear camera.

@Joew First you should make sure there are enough room to build the wheels. Sometimes there may be problems trying to build all of the wheels as they are so close to each other. So you might want to build those wheels separately and from wider distance for each other.

I got an error after load at projector in survival:
Multiple grids are not supported. Only the largest grid will be used.

And the wheels do not appears to be build. I dont know if it is missing more parts.
Any way to fix it, please?

@Rasmus9352 Hmm, I just tested it and I was able to place them without problems. You could remove the two middle pairs of wheels and instead add one pair of wheels to the middle. Though you have to make sure when building is survival that there's enough clearance bellow and around the wheels. So have it high enough from the ground when building it.

is it ok for people mentioning AGI or any of that when doing their own lore for their fleets? because im working on some lore for my modifications of the rovers and how they where obtained from a lost colony and frostbite

so in playing with the rover in survival and doing my small modifications this is actually a good little rover just a bit fiddly to use initially.

@willow_occult Hey! Yeah quite a few of the vehicles in Frostbite were designed by me and everything in Lost Colony was designed by me. I'm always ok for people modifying any of my creations so feel free to upload your modified designs :)

Okay, so I had to attach more wheels (the blueprint wouldn't let me add them) and now the rover will not pitch forward (down) to hit the ground with the drills.

Anyone have the settings I need to reset my wheels to?

Right after I typed that, I was able to get it to 'tilt', but now I can't get it to drive again. LOL.

I guess I'll figure it out. Anyone have a video of this with pistons and maybe how to add them?

I don't usually do pistons - I really don't know how to install them on something pre-built.

I can't get this to drill anything. The drills don't move anywhere and I can't get the miner to tilt forward to hit anything.

I don't understand how everyone else seems to work because the drills won't even touch the ground at all. :(

Ran into a snag when building it from the bp in survival.
the wheel hitbox's are not square on the blueprint. so right 3, left 1 and left 3 cant be built at the same time as the others. until u power it up and spin the wheels a bit to get the hitbox to be square again and not on an angle.

The first and last bridge should be set at 17%, others at 10%. Then you will get high maneuverability in a multiplayer game. The fact is that in the multiplayer game the wheels are bUggy. And the wheels without steering go crazy.

maybe, nut the weels did spawn...I got it as sson as I selected it in the projector
