I don't know if this was intended, but I've noticed something for S/M ships. If I start reverse engineering 1 ship, and start reverse engineering other ships of the same class, every single similar ship will unlock one more equipment blueprint. I won't be able to reverse engineer any more of the same class of ship, after finishing reverse engineering the first ship. I was able to reproduce this with L/XL ships, but only for 1 or 2 ships per class. Cheers all. o7

Is it possible to release a special version, or add an option in the settings that allows players to obtain the blueprints of the ship and all its equipped components instantly?
Actually, the reason I installed this mod is that there’s a bug in my game—all blueprints from the timeline become unavailable after research. I wanted to use this mod to fix the bug, but unfortunately, its specific mechanics make this unrealistic.:Gifting:

I captured some Xenon ships and wanted to use the mod. But I wanted to get blueprints of the weapons, shields, thrusters and engines as well.

I like the mod and I get you want balance, but can a version be available to speed up the analyzing? It is slow. Does anything speed it up? Like the more building drones it does or something? Is it possible to make extension options to change how fast it is?

Now that Egosoft fixed UI modding at some point I might switch it to a real UI instead. Doing 'more' on the dialogue wheel is really painful.

...Actually I guess changing option 6 from "back" to "more" if there are more than five potential analysis targets would also work

Suggestion: Make option 5 be a "more" option when applicable so that if someone has more than five potential analysis targets they can choose the one they want instead of...is it random, currently?

Yes. Some mods don't need to be updated for every game version.

There is a minor bug where it will let you analyze certain un-blueprintable special ships for no reward that I'll fix when I can find time, but that's it.

great concept but the speed is so slow!!!
Many times, by the time the reverse engineering is complete, I've already built and empire with enough cash to purchase the blueprint myself

Just a heads up im running 7.6 beta version , and your mod is broken in it. The option on conversation doesn't seem to come up for me, while i do run other mods, the same mod setup had worked on previous version.

Hydra Regal and Astrid are the only others I saw on a quick review of the files that don't allow a blueprint and were marked in a way the mod isn't currently detecting.

It seems the Raven is marked to not be buildable by the player and it's a bug that the mod lets you analyze it.

did not analyze the raven prototype and when the analyze was completed after 40 minutes the "completed" message in the build queue stated, analyze raven prototype (), like the function at the end. didnt get the blueprint for the raven.

Is there a way to decrease the time needed to do research on a ship? Six hours for a PE is rather steep, but that's my opinion.

Yes, that's how it works. It's right there in the description. You can analyze another to get equipment blueprints or you can do it the vanilla way with the data shard.

I just tried an analyze a Xenon H. What happened was I got the blueprint for the Chassis, but not the engines, shields, etc......

Xperimental shuttle already has blueprints provided in the game normally. This mod will not let you evade the 1 per universe limit.

Xenon F analysis 35 min- 1st ship- hull blueprint, 2+3 ship - Xenon 3X Combat mk1 engine & Xen Shield mk 1, 4th ship - Needler Gun Xen mk 1. In case anyone wanna know.

Yes, it seems Egosoft marked the capturable Xenon ships to allow the player to have blueprints even though AFAIK you can't get them in vanilla.

you just need to activate the mod after starting a new game if you do a custom start
