mod doesn't work, won't show up in list, and goodkings "fix" doesn't do it either

the mod can be show with manipulation : First subscribe to this mod, secondlv go to the folder steam\steamapps\workshop\content\233860\1686479628 rename the folder "1686479628" to "Weapons" and go to your Kenshi Folder (\Logiciel\steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi\mods)copy the renamed folder in Mods and for finish unsubscribe this mod on workshop. it fixed.

Do you need tech lvl 6? I don't see it showing up, my smith had 95 weapon making but i only get edge 1

i just see the tech to edge 2, not edge 3

yes, this mod does remove the homemade penalty, comparing a homemade meitou nodachi and the one from savant they have the same stats.

Earlier warnings about other models like Cyber Edge or Luxury is because of weapon mods unfortuanely. It seems friggin hard to find weapon mods without them replacing the meitou model.

If you get luxury or cyber edge then it seems a "nerf" in between edge 3 and meitou. Devil on other hand seems better than meitou which i'm now suffering with when trying to crit meitou.

Small question, do you also make crafted weapons be equal cuality as the ones found around the world? I'm not entirely sure by the description if you do that or you just allow to get to edge 3 and then crit meitou xD

Just be aware, if you use this and have the Weapon Dissemination mod, it seems that when you crit, you'll get the Very Luxury grade from that mod, which ngl, is a bit confusing.

Still works as advertise, making Edge 3 rather consistently.

This is a great mod that really should have just been vanilla.

Kudos for the mod. I didn't enslave and force-labor a weaponry-smith so that he can piss out MKIII junks. And this mod solves that. 10/10

For people, who are uncomfortable with the mod being "lore-unfriendly" you could just pretend that you have Cross in your squad.
I personally have renamed my Scorchlander weapon smith to Cross, even before I found this mod. Just think of your weapon smith as the only heir of Cross's legacy.
You could also just make your Cross be a skeleton, which would actually be pretty lore friendly, if you think about it.
After all there's the Armor King, who's the best armor smith from ancient times and he's still around. So it wouldn't be too far a stretch that Cross is still around, if they were a skeleton.

So according that Khimmalgura guy's logic, you should never add a mod that is unfriendly to lore and unnecessary.
This means all those other awesome mods out there? Chuck em.

Hey, when I cit on Edge3 i get Cyber Edge instead of Meitou, you think its a conflicting mod?

When trying to craft edge weapons, I get a "predicted result" of MK III (written in red), with no crit chance.
On the other hand, when I choose mkIII, I get a crit chance...
My blacksmiths skill should not be a problem.
any sugestions?

Meitou is a lost art and completely diffrent from Edgewalkers style. Nobody should craft a Meitou weapon in Kenshi let alone crit it from an Edgewalker weapon, especially clueless player recruits. this mod is very lore unfriendly and unneccessary. dislike.

Thank you! I have been looking for something that makes home made stuff equal to the stuff we can buy. It makes absolutely no sense that my level 80 smith can't make things equal to the merchants.
I like the lightweight approach of this mod too. No bells and whistles, just making homemade stuff equal, and letting us make the top tier.

Hot take? More like facts. Too many other mods over-complicate the whole deal with balance reworks, and you end up having to import - that's wack. Big ups from Daddy D.

I love the fact you have to research it first and then you can craft it. I had to find a mod just to research Edge II and crit III. This mod is pretty balanced this way if it is reserved for later tech levels. Now I can have Meitou custom weapons (plated mace mod and frame axe mod are must haves for me~). Thank you!
