hot take: every other mod that does this is hot garbage
why are you only able to craft to edge 2? why are homemade weapons debuffed? this is my answer.
no critting rusted crap like the other mods that let you craft meitou, homemade weapons aren't trash, none of it.
does only one thing. lets you research to edge 3 and crits to meitou.

making this mod was so simple you'd be suprised.

no import needed

apparently works with custom weapons. wack.

Does it also remove the debuff from homemade weapons?

The fix worked for me. The mod shows up in your modlist as just Weapons.

mod doesn't work, won't show up in list, and goodkings "fix" doesn't do it either

the mod can be show with manipulation : First subscribe to this mod, secondlv go to the folder steam\steamapps\workshop\content\233860\1686479628 rename the folder "1686479628" to "Weapons" and go to your Kenshi Folder (\Logiciel\steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi\mods)copy the renamed folder in Mods and for finish unsubscribe this mod on workshop. it fixed.
