Remember if the character you are using to talk with it is weaker in any combat stat regard then the prince it won't care to talk to you. The character you used before most likely was stronger then the previous grand prince.

Alright so i went back to the Fog Islands and caught myself 3 of them.
I placed them in a cage, removed their weapons and tried initiating talks but this time it does nothing even, i press talk and that's it. I'm honestly confused, wondering what else i need to do.

Yeah he was already in my cage since before, i guess i'll try getting a new one.

Just to point out that he will accept any of the items you offer him with respective chances. If chainmail doesn't work maybe a leviathan pearl will. if none work well kill him and find another.

I will try the dialogue myself but I think that's because he ended up not joining you their should be a dialogue saying he worships you now if you didn't get that dialogue that means he is unrecruitable. Also make sure he is unarmed when talking to him in the cage.

It says that i have to give him something shiny, so i offered the lil fella chainmail and he accepted it. The chat box closes and it still gives me the option to talk but nothing happens afterwards. I took his blade away and put it back in his inventory, picked him up and placed him back in the cage but nothing changes.

Its been updated. Please let me know if the dialogue is wonky or you get an odd outcome.

It has been a while yeah, going down a few comments i can see 2 other people who had reported it not working as far as 2 years ago. I guess it's all up to you whether you leave it as it is or try and fix it.

I haven't modded in years Kenshi, I checked real quick for you and I see that my mod has no dialogue options yet I marked it as balanced for recruit prisoners. I'm confused myself maybe somehow I meant it worked with only select Grand Fog princes that spawned with Vanilla spawn groups so I wouldn't have to make my own recruit dialogue.

So the spawns that have them alone or that I created won't have the recruit option on them. I will make a recruit dialogue unique to this mod. I guess once I recruited the prince myself I must have just said it works and that's it lol. I apologize.

Could you link which prisoner mod we must have for it to work?

I got him in the cage but can't talk to him.

I couldn't find how to recruit. I put it in jail, but there were no talk options.

oh sorry, 6k is what it's worth in default kenshi. I'm using fog hunt that makes it 3.5k. My bad bro

so the changes panel does not know the difference between races and races excluded tabs which meant i couldn't see what i did wrong so i never fixed it due to accidentally putting it in races and not races excluded. Thanks.

Hey my man, in the FCS you added the Prince as a race for the Dark Leather shirt and now it's the only race that can wear it because the "race" cathegory in FCS means the ONLY races that can wear that item, just leave it empty if you want the Prince to wear it.

I do not have shirts4all installed, but still with this mod installed no race can wear the dark leather shirt, the other shirts work fine tho, so there might be something else thats off.

i just checked it has to do with compatibility with shirts4all its not necessarily a bug on my part its the fact that shirts4all changes vanilla settings which is none of my concern sorry i do not use the mod.

Shame this is a dead mod, I like the look besides the weird eyes and if you can't wear underarmor because of a bug and it's never gonna get fixed makes this a no go for me. Which is sad, this is exactly what I needed in Kenshi.

This mod makes it so that leather undershirts are unwearable for any race, skeleton, human, shek, hive. I use shirts4all but before installing this I was able to wear leather undershirts but once this mod was installed it was unequipped to the inventory and unable to be re equipped. So after disabling all my mods one by one I found it to be this mod that was causing it

Also boost their health and head price! I've already modified it myself, so it's okay if you don't do anything about it.

Can you also make this compatible with military craft, more combat animation and animation overhaul please?

Perhaps they are marked up in mongrel? these heads don't have the markup

ill check it out but last i checked the heads were only worth 1200 in my game however maybe an update changed the values

regular fog prince heads are worth 6k, which is 50% more than the upgraded prince here. Is that an oversight?
