are you sure this is related to this mod? this modifies the vanilla melee combo script, but it should not attempt to activate the ready animation unless there's a ready animation present. can you provide a pastebin for your logs?

I mainly use the Mikazuki from the Arcana mod, would it use the animations or would it not do anything?

if it's preventing you from even going into multiplayer - nope. if it's not - you can probably do something like /spawnitem commonbroadsword 1 '{"primaryAbility":{"stances":{"unsheathe":{"duration": 0.3, "weaponRotation": 50, "armRotation": 90, "weaponAngularVelocity": 200, "armAngularVelocity": 300, "allowFlip":true, "allowRotate": true}}}}' to create a vanilla item with the stance, which will only work for you (and others who have the mod) as you're the only one who has the scrips.

I would if I knew lua. However, thanks for the permission. Hopefully someone who does know lua will come by and make a Frackin' Universe compatible version.

you should have said this sooner
i got no real fix since FU overwrites the combo and slash files, from what i can tell. maybe in the distant future when i return to modding, if ever, I'll make a FU patch. however, if you want (you seem to be a modder too) you can create a patch yourself, granted you credit the OG mod.

Maybe it was a very specific conflict. The person helping me had said this mod had been the cause of other weapons breaking for other people after I had removed it.

are you 100% sure? i'm certain that neither shellguard or my mod touched the weapon.lua file, and the lines 104 and 257 are a blank line and an "end" syntax respectively

Just wanted to report this mod has broken multiple other mods. I've been informed of it breaking Shellguard, among others, and it also broke some generic shortswords I had been using. Error is as follows:

This mod breaks the Crescent Rose Weapon from RWBY since it has it's own Sheathing and Unsheathing animation.
Trying to use Crescent Rose while having both of these mods will result in you holding the weapon in it's non-transformed state eternally.

i mean, if its modded the weapons might use a different script. maybe i just made it so there's no animation unless otherwise specified to avoid dumb nonsensical animations on mods that i dont know of. if its vanilla then i dont really know, i mean i made this mod over a year ago and havent really modded seriously since so i dont remember the weapons i did it for

problem fixed, however other mods might still be affected.
FIX FOR AUTHORS:
add "unsheathe": {} into your melee ability's stances
and add "unsheathe": [] into your sounds object
you can also specify custom animations or sounds if you so want, im cool with that

It breaks stances, I went through this with Travelling Merchant the mod author. Idk the whole technical side but after spending a while looking for what broke the guns, it was this.

When I try to open the .metadata files, It just asks me what do i want to open it with, It doesn't give me the option to open the .shipworld files.

Hey, so I dowloaded this mod, and when I loaded in with it, EVERYTHING in my game is gone, and screwy now. All of the stuff I put in my ship is gone, the crafting stations, containers, everything. Also, All of the hazzard blocks that appear when you get a new addition for your ship are all back in the exact same place, like i never took them down, but I know I did. On top of that NONE of my waypoints that I made with flags are working, I go to use one, it enters me into the teleporter sequence, then it suddenly kicks me out. Do you have any input on this problem?
