@gumballzx no he worked out of the twin cities so I dont think he did. :/ When he started working steam was just about near the end and the new streamliners were going strong.

gumballzx: Loved the run! My great grandfather worked for the Great Northern and I'm sure this would have brought back a lot of memories for him! :) Thanks again and hope to see more! :)

@Salvin the steam era ended around the early 50s, sure some steam was in revenue service after that, but by the late 50s most steam engines were replaced by diesel locomotives on the Great Northern.
