It's usable in multi-player. Changes to the game prevent the blueprints from spawning automatically. An admin will have to provide them.

Ask the DnL dev's. They broke mods and there's no plans that I know of to fix them. This worked at release.

If your just not seeing the blueprint in your inventory grab it using admin commands.

Why the uploaded items cannot be used brother, can I ask you for advice

@Creetiur that's some interesting stuff. We can safely say that the internal patching is messing with functionality of mods. I'll see what I can do. It's disappointing that the map extension is broken which I used to auto launch the mod.

Hello, I like R3DneckSuperman am having trouble getting the engram to show up in game. I tried to find the conversation that was moved to discord but could not locate that either. Additionally when I spawn an alter after selecting to place it I get a wall of white text that says "1) date/time: Debug HUD Initialized." also gives a server message "Init debug hud". Seems to be server side because even after re-logging the messages are still there. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

@silver I'm sorry, I assumed (wrongly) that there were more options like there are in Ark. I know the game has two maps and each map is a separate game. Let me know if this information doesn't help.

Since the mod won't start on it's own (I have had other reports of this happening when mixed with other mods) You can use the admin command to get an Altar.

how do you start a seperate game? It doesn't give you the option to. I removed all the mods but the shard of faith and the altar and still nothing - if I have to start a new game how do I do it without deleating my current game - I am playing single player

you don't have to remove them to disable them.

would you be willing to test this in single player? I would start by removing benches core. basicly you'll need to pull one out at a time until it works. Please le my know the results.

First of all, I don't know how I can give more information because it was failing uncertainly and closing the game. When I put the "Altar" on the ground, two or three intertwined posts were coming to the left of the screen and I could not fully read it. I used Altar and I could get my items back without a problem, but after a while, the game closed with errors. The error code was too long and it was closing itself by containing meaningless letters like "0" - "1" - "x". I deleted the Altar Mod, I did not encounter any other problem with the game, the game was not closed again.

@WolfBood I'll take a look but if you can provide more details that would help. Most problems are resolved by deleting the mod files and the steam download cache to install a new copy.

I am running 3 other mods: Invasion, Better Creatures & Tranqs and Enhanced Structures.I had even moved your mod to 1st load order to see if it would rectify the situation, which it did not. *shrug* This is why I gave up learning to mod...too much of a headache sometimes lol.You have my respect for your patience and determination! Thank you for the feedback. I will update the admin code in the description. It's odd that you can get one via admin but the blueprint isn't showing up in your inventory. Are you running any other mods? In a recent discussion on the DnL Mod discord it was determined that not all mod types are fully stackable. But at least you can get one via admin. It would be nice to know what is interfering.

Just wanted to say,I have yet to see a blueprint show up in my inventory, I have unsubbed, deleted mod files, cleared cache x2. I even tried your google doc link, all to no avail. I had at one point tried to spawn one in, only your code didn't work. DnL is built on top of Ark. So all mod management instructions are the same. In any Steam Game that supports installing mods via the Workshop, the instructions are the same.
The instructions on how to clear your download cache is discussed in that group.

I did run a file verify on steam before and after re-installing the mod and it says all is fine, but still nothing appears in my inventory - how else do you clear the cache? In the game Ark we have a mod called Death Inventory Keeper - if we had something like that in DNL then we wouldn't need altars - or does this only spawn once you own an ingame altar at your base?

It's not broken. The mod files you have installed are damaged. If your in a server config the problem could be with the server file copy. You will need to follow the instructions bellow to properly purge those bad files. But it's also possible you'll continue to download bad files.

If you didn't clear the steam download cache you just re-installed bad files.

If the bp doesn't show up after 10 seconds the mod is not installed correctly. Which basicely comes down to one of two things. 1) you didn't actually select the mod or 2) the files are damaged and need to be deleted/redownloaded. It's a common problem that mods are not installed correctly.

The current work around for the placement issue is to logout with the item in your inventory. When you log back in you will be able to place it.
