Pigzerd, the deprecated gearboxes still very much work. Did you take the handbrake off?

I haven't been able to figure out why it won't move after starting up for quite a while, i finally figured out a fix, all you have to do is replace the deprecated gearboxes that connect the electric motors to the train wheel assembly with one of the newer gearboxes and set the off ratio to 3:1

nongboii, there is a "door" along the right side of the 'long hood' the engine start switch is in there. Might I suggest watch my tutorial video, it explains alot in it. Hope that helps!

We recently started work on a particular train that happens to be both VERY famous and is sitting in his home town station. ;D

BiceNice, there is a video tutorial available, it's a little dated, but the steps are pretty much the same AND it shows you how to MU other locomotives and setup your cars and EOTD. I hope that helps!

damon112806, I've contemplated it, as you might be aware these newer locomotives use screens rather then gauges and being able to fit all the useful information on there would be difficult...not impossible, but difficult. Maybe one of these days.

I meant in-game. Thanks for the info, I figured it might be like that when the cab signal switched to what I believe was "Restricting" through many of the turns. I'm currently using one of these locos to rescue a broken down subway trainset.

SquaadZulu, in real life or in game? In game its just a distance sensor located under the draw bar on both ends. Typically most locomotives the UP uses don't have CNW cab signal pickups on both ends, just the head-end. Most of these GP-15's however do, so I included it.

jshmccanna, It is called an 'Alerter'. I'm here to tell you they are annoying, but then again that is kind of the point :D In real life tampering with safety equipment can lead to either very heavy personal fines compliments of the FRA (Federal Railroad Administration), or possibly jail time. And that is all before your company get their hands on you.

UPDATE: 08 AUG 2019
-The radio can now be used to "punch up" switches to remotely "throw" them. Either type in 44011 or 44066, you will hear yourself pushing the keypad and the switch point indicator will change aspect.

turns out i forgot to turn the handbreak off. mostly because you cant notice it if you arnet looking

A common setup we use if you have cars in the middle and power on each end is to just 'Isolate' the unused engine.

I believe you are referring to a Distributed Power Unit or (DPU), these locomotives are (as in real life) not capable of being a DPU.

is there a way to use a trail unit so you can have 2 locomotives because if there is i can't find the way to do it
