I think he has several mods running with the assets, so when he updates a mod, he doesn't have to reupload the textures (and players don't have to download it again either), making the process much faster.

this is just the code that allows the ships to work, for some reason this dude decided to not include that with the MODELS.

no models are 0.038 mb

the ASSETS pack is all the textures and models, this is just what allows the textures and models to be used

What in total does this and the common asset folder add? I've noticed the main menu screen, portraits, and citysets in addition to the ship graphics. So far I don't see anything gameplay-wise, but I'd rather not be surprised halfway through a multiplayer game by something.

Pardon my ignorance but if this is ship graphics only, then why does it require the seperate common asset mod? I'd love they style points of flying around in "genuine" halo ships, but the mod collection I maintain for myself and my freinds is intened to steer away from shipsets that make actual gameplay changes for the sake of simplicity. I thank you for whatever time you spend answering these simple questions of mine.
