well done!
I just tested the craft and all the drives are working. You need to make sure you click the "Power to Central Engine" button just forward of the ceiling based throttle in order to send power to the Central Drive Motors. The Drive Motors (Maneuvering and Central) are both Electric and have buttons just forward of their throttle controls to turn on the relays which send power to them. The Diesel Engines (Port and SB) are used to power Electric Generators only. The Diesels don't provide any mechanical power to the propellers.
My recomendation: use only the Central to get from A to B and then switch over to Maneuvering when you get there. I typically set the throttle for Maneuvering to 25% and Central to 75%. At 75% you should see your electrial usage vs generation is balanced with Max Setting engage. I move from location to location with Central. On arrival I turn off Central and then turn on Maneuvering.
The optimal settings right now are to run Diesel Engines at Max Power Settings and sprint with only the Central Drive set at 80%. That setup balances the Generators Charge and Battery Array Discharge. The limiting factor then becomes the fuel.
Running both Drive Engines simultaneously doesn't give you a heck of a lot of extra speed. I run Central for speed and the Main Drives for maneouvering. I can literally drift turn when I have both drives running. I typically use the Central at 80% to get to where I want to go. When I arrive I kick over to Main and turn off Central. Main Drive is great for parking. When not moving I power down both Electric Motors and run the Diesels on Idle to recharge the batteries while conserving fuel.
At this point WIP is just about done. I'll be tweaking the gearing and power settings shortly for optimal power and hope to be able to put together a write up shortly.
