Man, Im sad about this. Two of my favorite megacorps depended on this mod. Sucks no one is keeping up with it anymore.
Vinc3nt  [autor] 29 NOV 2023 a las 21:32
The mod is no longer in development and is incompatible with the latest version. Anyone interested in resuming its development is welcome to use and modify all the files in the mod without any restrictions.

update? working 3.9.2??
Doctor Proteus 15 MAY 2023 a las 20:32
I hope this mod gets updated for the new Councillor System. I always used the Institute of Things for my Science focused Materialist Corporation.
Cordon Keeper 7 SEP 2022 a las 20:09
Yup, that did it. Thanks very much! :HappyMask:
Vinc3nt  [autor] 7 SEP 2022 a las 16:08
Hopefully, it's working now (for version 3.4.5)
Cordon Keeper 7 SEP 2022 a las 7:14
Sorry. I thought I'd reach out because I'm running the civic in a game now and the members club isn't showing up in my branch office build-list. It's been awhile since I played, so I thought past updates might have finally borked the mod.

@Leech's Share
I've updated the mod to conform to the latest state of the code.

(For some reason, the Private Members Club description includes a typo ("$"), not sure how that got there as I've not touched those files, but it doesn't affect anything)
Cordon Keeper 6 SEP 2022 a las 2:14
Any chance of this seeing an update? I like them all but Private Members Club is practically a cornerstone to one of my megacorps.

looks good
greensniperhat 25 NOV 2021 a las 23:00
3.2 replaces the job checks with possible_precalc, otherwise it breaks jobs.
Vinc3nt  [autor] 10 NOV 2021 a las 0:14
The supported version has been updated.

Are you still seeing issues?
oneoneoneoneone 29 OCT 2021 a las 21:13
Or use Irony mod manager it doesn't seem to have that problem when loading from that.
oneoneoneoneone 29 OCT 2021 a las 20:34
@Xenai the descriptor is just this notepad looking file that contains the name of the mod and supported versions, maybe something else. Largely unimportant. You can easily fix this in the mod manager, create a new mod name it anything and copy this mod minus the descriptor if it's there. Then load the mod you just created.
greensniperhat 8 OCT 2021 a las 3:12
Update for 3.1.* when? Or is this compatible already?
Xenai 19 SEP 2021 a las 6:58
The launcher won't even let the mod be enabled now, saying it lacks a descriptor file, whatever that is. Such a shame too, to my knowledge there is no mod quite like this that makes peaceful ideology "wars" an option.
Grendain 31 JUL 2021 a las 19:33
Compatible with version 3.0.3 of Stellaris ?
Vinc3nt  [autor] 14 MAY 2021 a las 1:09
Hi guys, sorry for the delay.
An update has been made to support the latest version of Stellaris.
Beast-Storm 10 MAY 2021 a las 2:49
When can we expect an update?
Sniggledorf Fumpledink 1 MAY 2021 a las 19:25
please update
MX 24 ABR 2021 a las 23:14
Pls, sir
Sjru 🐲 21 ABR 2021 a las 17:45
Will this be updated¿?
Phantomcreator42 31 MAR 2021 a las 17:58
By which I mean the list of civics
Phantomcreator42 31 MAR 2021 a las 17:58
What happened to universal news network? I can't find it on the list.
Arthantir 14 NOV 2020 a las 8:32
Any chance updating it to version 2.8?
Skill Less 18 MAR 2020 a las 15:03
yepp nvm then, i commented the other one, too :)
Vinc3nt  [autor] 18 MAR 2020 a las 14:39
@Skill_Less I had a look at that other mod and they do have the 00_policies.txt issue that you mentioned. Fortunately, this mod doesn't use 00_policies.txt so it shouldn't be an issue here.

I've updated the mod to the latest version(s).
Skill Less 18 MAR 2020 a las 8:26
maybe nvm, I could have confused it with this mod: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1836740736
Skill Less 18 MAR 2020 a las 8:23
Federations DLC adds a new trade policy which is excluded by 00_policies.txt

I took a look into the mods and found that overwrite in mmc
Is mmc your mod?
Vinc3nt  [autor] 17 MAR 2020 a las 23:58
@Skill_Less I cannot find the files that are broken because of this mod. The trade_policy entries appear independent of these extra civics. Or does the base game have a bug? Thanks
Skill Less 17 MAR 2020 a las 12:42
hi there, just want to leave a comment here: you need to update all 00_ overwrites. e.g. the trade_policy is broken with federations + megacorp :)
Scyw 16 MAR 2020 a las 15:16
@Vinc3nt Nevermind Babanabanan's suggestion to delete modregistry.json file fixed this
Vinc3nt  [autor] 14 MAR 2020 a las 14:27
@Scyw Could you post a bug report? I'm not sure which descriptor is missing. Thanks,
Vinc3nt  [autor] 14 MAR 2020 a las 14:26
@TurtleShroom, @Ghost_Fox is correct.
Ghost Fox (ΘΔ) 13 MAR 2020 a las 23:39
@TurtleShroom
I suspect that will depend on whether or not "Gospel of the Masses" is so converted.
TurtleShroom 13 MAR 2020 a las 19:57
Will these be converted or Origins?
Scyw 13 MAR 2020 a las 9:54
Descriptor missing
Vinc3nt  [autor] 7 MAR 2020 a las 17:35
@TurtleShroom
You are correct, the weightings were ~10% of what the gospel of the masses building was in MegaCorp. I've released a new version with this fix.

Apologies for my absence.
TurtleShroom 17 AGO 2019 a las 9:52
Hey dude. I just wanted to report a bug. The AI never builds their special Buildings if they have one of your Civics. The weight is next to nothing. Please multiply the current weight for those special Buildings by ten, so that the AI will always know to build them!
TurtleShroom 22 JUL 2019 a las 17:25
@Lady Crimson

No, everything is in order on my end.
Lady Crimson (RIP) 22 JUL 2019 a las 16:11
Anyone encounter any problems with the latest update?
Lady Crimson (RIP) 22 JUL 2019 a las 15:38
Simple but I really like the idea.
Ultimuh 4 JUL 2019 a las 3:52
"House of Argument" Reminds me of a certain Monty Python sketch.
TurtleShroom 22 JUN 2019 a las 10:35
@Solus

You were right. It WAS "Origin Civics".
Solus 22 JUN 2019 a las 2:43
Pretty sure it's not this mod that causes that freeze. The mod that i've had issue with is the "Origins Civics" mod so I recommend disabling it until it gets updated.
TurtleShroom 18 JUN 2019 a las 14:53
As of V2.3, your Mod induces the game to freeze at ninety percent.

The cause is your [14:55:55][game_singleobjectdatabase.h:147]: Object with key: prosperity_gospel_check_trigger already exists . You will need to find some way to fix this to recover Mod compatibility...

This is one of my favorite Mods. Please do not let it die.
Sjru 🐲 8 JUN 2019 a las 22:27
Update?
drh 28 MAY 2019 a las 11:34
It'd be cool to see an addon to this that adds civics for Cultural Overhaul's ethos.
Cura 26 MAY 2019 a las 15:07
I agree with jerryblizzards38's idea. I don't know what Gospel of the Masses and more so Criminal Heritage has elections. It makes no sense at all.
TurtleShroom 16 MAY 2019 a las 17:45
Never mind. Whatever was wrong has fixed itself.
