Keep in mind the button is only there to decouple the cars, do not have it toggled to connect.

Don't throttle the motor to max then, you don't need it at full power, if anything it is bad to have it at full as your wheels will start slipping. Keep in mind that the engine throttle does not move the train, it only produces electricity.

The battery does not drain at all if you use it correctly. Putting the electric motor at full power is not a good idea, you will just start slipping your wheels and wont travel as fast, values like 0.10 should be plenty. The engine throttles are controlled on the panel on the wall (these only generate electricity), in order to start the engines make sure you have fuel pumps on and that the fuel pressure is set to 1. There is nothing that needs fixing.

Fuel pressure must be set to 1 and your fuel pump must also be on.

Could you explain? If what you mean it goes backwards at spawn you need to turn the reverser into the forward position.
