It would be better if this was a next to impossible spell to use.
There is already a spell that turns one metal into another.
But every practiced Alteration mage knows that to permanently turn one thing into another with no relation in properties would take a master mage.
Still, I like this mod as a joke, but it would be better if it was less of a joke mod and more of a real mod.
Like making a master alteration spell that turns wood into gold.
There is a source for getting master alteration spells too, which would be the perfect place to get the spell, from the master alteration mage from the College of Winterhold... which requires progressing through their 'mages guild' to a high enough rank.
Truly worthwhile to do, and by the time its done, you'll have encountered the comment said by bandits in game enough that you'd understand the joke behind it.
No normal magic can do that. It is in the realm of transformative impossibilities. The realm of the master alteration mage.

Is there a level requirement for the speel to appear? I tried disabling skyui temporarily to try ti find it but no luck. is there anything else I need to do after subscribing to get the mod?

There's already a spell in vanilla that allows you to transmute iron to gold.

It's called Transmute Mineral Ore & is found in Halted Stream Camp.
