And nice, backpack crafting is a pretty simple mod but it's one of those things that was an obvious add to the game 😎
I also just realized you made the backpack crafting mod
If you go far enough from the statue, you can place multiples of these statues. I think this might make the mod redundant since you don't need this mod if you place numerous bases one next to the other, but this mod right now should make your bases at least 4 times as large as vanilla. This means that one statue should be enough for very large bases. I'm not sure if there is a downside to having a base too large. Vanilla towns should act like enclaves inside the player town if the player town overtakes them. This might be different depending on town and so on, but in my experience a larger circle should encapsulate a smaller one, rather than the other way around.
@Ronchi: I think the circle might be so big that you need to go pretty far to find it.
@All: I think for anyone having issues, there was perhaps a change in the game/editor that changed this mod a little. It might have made the circle be the same size again. I checked it out and it should work properly now. If there are issues I'll be here to check them out.
1. Press Shift+F12 to open the game editor.
2. Left-click Town Placement at the upper left of the menu.
3. Left-click Your Outpost's Name in the menu that appeared to the left (if you didn't change it, it is called "Your Outpost" and you'll find it at the very end of the list).
4. The statue is now attached to your mouse cursor and can be placed with a left-click.
[Just in case: The first time I replaced a statue the white circle around it didn't change its position with it. I restarted the game and the circle had moved to the right place. Strangely, from then on the circle always moved right away when placing a statue.]
to increase the size of bases is a great idea, unfortunately your mod isn't working for me. The white circle around the statue doesn't change at all. I put your mod at the top of my mod list and did import and I tried it at the bottom of the list with a new import, but the size of the circle never changed.
Any ideas? I would appreciate your help, a bigger base area would really be nice.
If not, you will have to remember the town name, then delete the town marker, select it from the list on the left, and place it down in the area of your choosing!
Hope it helps!
Move the walls away from the other town, or
press shift+f12, go into the town list, and you'll see a statue in the center of the other town. Move it away from yours so that it still encompasses the other town fully, but that it's diameter doesn't interfere with your walls.
The second idea might be best if you want to keep your base as is, and it does work as long as you can move the town statue far enough from your town.
Let me know how it goes!
There can also be other issues of course, like the walls having actual holes in them if they are on uneven ground. I'll try expanding the area of the base asap so you can test whether that helps or not.
I think you need to import.
This is a possible fix to walls being bugged, but it is possible it won't change anything.
