Love your mod but it would be an eye candy if units had shield variations. After 50 turns it all units become kind of same.

I absolutely love this mod. Just one question: Are they a wee bit OP? I was fighting Rome the other day and realized I had no issues whatsoever just wiping the floor with them. The K/D ratio was insane!

There is one problem, all Illyrian mercenaries are converted to female, but the voice acting remains male. Is that how it should be?

OK, now I see. Not only Ardiaean octeres has changed, but also Egyptian ones.

I meant I wish to mix existing parts of ships (i.e. persian bow with greek stern) and add another shields, but still from vanilla, not modelled by myself. I knew that completly new model of ship can't be load, however I hoped that it is possible to make new ships from existing parts, and for single faction/subculture only (not a whole game).

I just re-read your question and you mentioned you made a custom ship. As far as I know, you cannot import new ship models, only edit existing ones.

I'm not sure if this is still true but back when I was making my mod, the sources I read mentioned that it was impossible or highly complicated to import variant models of ships.

So I simply used an existing egyptian ship, changed the shields and assigned my units to use the egyptian ship already used by Egypt.

I did it, but don't know, what to do next. Where can I insert variantmeshdefinition file of the ship? Ships are quite specific - they have only a table for variantmodels.
(I understand that you also used Variant Editor - right? Or you opened a model in modelling software?)

I believe you do it through the Assembly Kit Variant Editor. I opened the model of one of the Egyptian ships and replaced their shields.

How did you add nabatean shields to ships? I've made a custom ship with different shields but I can't add it neither in PFM nor AK. Help, pls.

Would it be possible to make it so a player could recruit the Tribeswomen in campaign and custom battles instead of just being a garrison unit?

Nice mod, rounds out the Illyrians with viable late game cav and infantry, but the best thing...archers!

This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome. Rome II could use more 3K/Warhammer-styled "exaggerations" to make the factions really stand apart. I tried to embody that mantra when i made my "Wrath of Sparta: Revamped" unit mods.

Hi. I play the german version and i don't see the names of the units in the game. Stats are there but not the names. What must i do, to see them.

only 1 or 2 units would me enough I.Noble Hoplites and I. noble swords

for example illyrian noble hoplites -> male, with corinthian helmets and named Royal Hoplites or sth like that ;D

your units are amaizing and if u could do this ... i would kiss ur online feet

Well it is possible though it would take so much work to re-design the entire faction into a Hellenic culture since that means absolutely everything needs to be adjusted for Ardiaei and I never did such a thing.

I might do it one day if I ever decide I wish to embark on such a modding adventure, but for now I can't promise anything I'm afraid ^^

So, any news about my request? Is it possible?
