Amazonian Ardiaei

描述
This is a visual overhaul mod with some extra goodies that makes the Ardiaei faction of Illyria into a fully converted tribe of Amazonian warrior women.

CHANGES
  • 100% chance to spawn a female general
  • All units are converted to female except for Slave units
  • All female and male generals now have a unique and better looking armor
  • All units now have better looking armor best suited for the Amazonian cliche look
  • All units within the army unit now use matching armor of that unit (no armor variety)
  • Illyrian Tribesmen and Illyrian Spearmen units are renamed to *women* counter-part for immersion
  • All units have been given Loose Formation ability to make them more versatile
  • Added the *Screech* ability to Illyrian Noble Hoplites for immersion
  • Four new land and two new naval units fully integrated into the game for the Ardiaei faction

  • Illyrian Archers (Bronze Furnace Level 2)
  • Illyrian Noble Swords (Bronze Furnace Level 4)
  • Illyrian Horse Archers (Horse Ranch Level 4)
  • Illyrian Noble Cavalry (Horse Ranch Level 4)


Naval Units
  • Missile Penteres, Illyrian Archers (Military Port Level 2)
  • Assault Octeres, Illyrian Noble Swords (Military Port Level 4)



Frequently Asked Questions
  • Why do the units not wear any helmets?
    This mod is not meant to be realistic considering it is inspired by various movies and cliche looks of the Amazons. They have more personality and variety without helmets when viewed up-close, not to mention more feminine.

  • Why are the newly added late-game Amazon units as strong as top units from other factions?
    The newly added Amazon late-game units have the exact same stats and price as top units from other factions, because they're Amazons and it wouldn't be fun to add new units if they couldn't go toe-to-toe against Roman legionnaires or Barbarian hordes.

Love your mod but it would be an eye candy if units had shield variations. After 50 turns it all units become kind of same.

mod设计的不错:steamthumbsup:，但是盾牌和盔甲做的大部分是一样的（尤其是盾牌），同质化有点严重，希望作者能改善一下

I absolutely love this mod. Just one question: Are they a wee bit OP? I was fighting Rome the other day and realized I had no issues whatsoever just wiping the floor with them. The K/D ratio was insane!
