Unfortunatly, i think that the patch will not bring to the game, what your mod brought.
There still will be relations between factions with little sense, as CA just "balanced" it.
Setting it to "zero" and let players actions determine how relations improve, like your mod does/did, makes a lot more sense to me.
A petty we loose your mod.
No chance for an update?!

The CAI behaviour has been fixed as stated by CA in the official patch notes:

"Adjustments have been made to the way the AI declares war on the player. We’ve balanced the weight of the different factors that lead to a war, so that it is more contextual and relevant given the current state of the campaign."

Therefore this mod is no longer needed.

Sorry for the late answer. I was hoping that this mod has been rendered obsolete by the last patch. It was only ever meant to be a stand in until this issue would be patched. I'm afraid I won't have time for proper testing but you should be able to either play on without it or roll back to the old version of the game ( available under betas via steam) and keep it. @ Baiu-Var danke für deine Geduld!

Your stupid mod broke my game and now i cant war with east Engle as wessex. We are permantly stuck in a peace treaty. its like turn 60 im on.

I seem to have a major issue with this mod in that I can no longer form kingdoms like Danelaw or England. I do run many mods, but I saved right as I achieved the short kingdom victory as West Seaxe. With all my mods enabled, I did not become Anglo Saxon. Turned this mod off, Anglo Saxon. All mods off, Anglo Saxon. Only this mod on, nothing.

when your strenght rank is lower than their and have boder with you, they immediatly attack. it doesnt matter u have a good realtion or ally with them. if u have higher strenght rank, even they hates u doesnt matter they will not attack you. Very logicall right :steamfacepalm:

I really hope they will fix this. because even though i checked all the tables they mentioned as added or modified in the patchnotes i still can't find the culprit values. i did some more testing with this mod and sadly backstabbing is still a thing. but at least is a lot less probable and for me only occured in late game with huge empires like england or danelaw.

there is rly idiot programmer working in CA. I mean when we said make AI agressive that doesnt mean no diplomacy. Why CA cant understand this. Diplomacy was useless now even more useless. Fuckin morons :steamfacepalm:

This is badly needed. I don't like multiple factions invading me as soon as the game starts.

Is there a way to stop the biggest bug of endlessly spawning rebel armies? I lost my Mide capital on turn 2 last game to a magical rebel army and then it killed my general who was auto-pushed out of the city into the open. And of course 3 of my neighbors declared way on me by turn 2 and invaded with full stacks while I only had the one 6 unit stack you start with (I didn't have your mod installed at the time). I was forced to quit on turn 2.

I like the new patch very much. The buildings, alliegence, loyalty... that's all great. I also like the idea, that the A.I is more aggressive. But atm it clearly doesn't work as intended. Because not only do they ignore diplomacy, they don't even declare war, you just glitch into being at war. And that can't be how CA wanted to implement this.

OK, I set everyone apart from the spawning viking factions back to low aggressiveness. The only way I can assure only vikings are affected. Note that this mod can only decrease the chance for the AI to break alliances. Since the last patch it is inteded for neighbouring factions to betray and attack you. Untill I understand how exactly C.A. implemented that or even better they themself roll it back, all I can do is override this random chance for the A.I. to attack the player. In most cases this seems to work.

Thanks this was sorely needed, everytime I play as Northumbria, East Anglia attacks me within 4 turns even if we have been declared friends, which is rediculous cause they can expand into lands that aren't their allies and they need allies since if they don't have any Wessex will smash them.

It seems that one of the main triggers for the CAI to declare war is when borders touch. Playing as Sudreyar/legendary, even my friends declare war on my within a couple of turns of us becoming neighbors. Can the weight of this value alone be adjusted (borders)?

Yes, one side effect is that the A.I. is over cautious, even diplomatically. You really have to have good relationships for marriage arrangements. I found that it is harder to get treaties at the beginning. But once you are in the green it gets a lot easier and most importantly more reliable. Best declare frienships first, join their wars and prepare to do one or two golden hanshakes for good measure.
As requested I now set the Viking factions and characters that formerly were sth. like aggressive & unreliable (by default some of the smaller danelaw factions) from "low" to "medium" aggressiveness.

Just played a short 30 turn campaign with Strat Clut and its fantastic. Great focus on building your lands. Theres a lot less wars and thats a good thing. the ai getting into constant free for alls and creating so much border gore was disgusting but that seems to definately slowed down a lot. Minor inconvienience, but the arranged marriages seem impossuble now...
