lol. dude. that's just not true. these work with just about any big battle rules you care to throw at them, with a little ingenuity and imagination. or grab 2D6 and write your own (like Donald Featherstone did!). without wishing to appear rude, they are what they are. massed toy soldiers for big battles. skirmishes in this period, really aren't my thing, and i'm unlikely to be revisiting.

Am I correct that these incredibly awesome, wonderful, and well-detailed lads can't be taken off their bases as a skirmish game would require?
