They are in fact compatible, just load this mod after Regrowth 2. Also while they function in a similar way they do not do the exact same thing.
This mod ignores realism and logic making all filth types vanish with rain/snow and within 14-15 days or less.
Regrowth 2 on the other hand patches the Parentdef with these changes and makes a few other changes. Overall some filth types will last significantly longer than 14-15 days because they have their own duration specified. Also a number of filth types are specifically patched to not vanish with rain/snow because its not realistic and that's how it is in vanilla.
Also, big thanks for this mod FrozenSnowFox. After multiple WH40K Ork raids, the whole outside of my vault is covered in ugly, green blood
Then again, i am old and coming back to Rimworld after years and installing 80+ mods is difficult.
Thanks a bunch for your mods.
I'd have to test if that's actually viable with the way I patch things and add a mod settings menu for the mod. At any rate its not something I'll do anytime soon with other things on my to do list.
If you want you can change it on your local copy. There's only one file in the mod, open it in notepad and change the 14-15 to whatever you like. You should also change the number in the path to match your maximum setting to ensure the patch isn't changing things that would normally disappear sooner.
Thanks :)
I haven't seen it used as thank you on mods that are still being maintained and relevant. So far I've only seen it spammed on mods as a thank you for which people consider obsolete (several of which aren't).
Bear in mind the changes only work on filth generated after the mod is installed. If that's not it steam might have messed up the files. Try verifying your game integrity if that doesn't work you can try grabbing a copy from the github linked in the description.
Read the description.
No clue what that's from but the patch should pick it up without needing any changes.
Yet every time I upload a new version it breaks things for people all over again so that's not a viable fix. I've personally subscribed to my mods at times to check and the files are there. It's purely a steam issue which seems to affect some people more than others. I had it once myself but steam revolved the issue itself a short while later.
Steam has been doing that a lot lately. I threw it up on github. You can grab a copy from the link below.

The steam workshop has been having issues for the past few days downloading old mods. I'm afraid all I can do is offer a suggestion on how to hopefully rectify the issue. Follow the instructions below.
- Manually delete the mod folder.
- Clear the steam cache, you can do that by going to Steam - Settings - Downloads - Clear Cache
- Restart steam and then verify the game integrity.
This is one of my favorite mods, kinda sad to play without it ;(
Thank you so much for making this amazing mod—really appreciate your hard work!
I'm afraid there's no much I can do as this is an ongoing steam issue. The best thing I can suggest is to manually delete the mod folder then verify the game integrity that should hopefully fix the issue.
Probably because steam is being stupid lately and mucking up everyone's files. You can try manually deleting the mod folder and verifying the game integrity that should fix it. For this mod though it doesn't really matter unless its somehow managed to grab some very ancient version. The core files should be exactly the same and it should just pull from the 1.5 folder. It should correct itself at some point I think?
Yes it can be added or removed from saves without issue. However only filth generated after the mod is installed will be affected by its changes.
This mod does not change weather in any way. That's simply RNG and the storyteller's hatred for you.
I think the safest route will be to stay here with your great mod ^^
PS : what happened to my keyboard (because I won't complain over my own fingers, it would imply it's my fault xP), my previous comment is so wrong ! xD Thanks for reading it successfully !
I don't have any plans to do that sorry. As far as I recall Regrowth Core more or less does that with its implementation of this.
If you don't have options do you know any mod doing that ?
