@FrozenSnowFox Appreciate the additional info and clarification. Will do.
FrozenSnowFox  [autor] 4 OCT a las 3:54
@Izanami
They are in fact compatible, just load this mod after Regrowth 2. Also while they function in a similar way they do not do the exact same thing.

This mod ignores realism and logic making all filth types vanish with rain/snow and within 14-15 days or less.

Regrowth 2 on the other hand patches the Parentdef with these changes and makes a few other changes. Overall some filth types will last significantly longer than 14-15 days because they have their own duration specified. Also a number of filth types are specifically patched to not vanish with rain/snow because its not realistic and that's how it is in vanilla.
Izanami 3 OCT a las 19:51
@FrozenSnowFox Regrowth 2 has listed this mod as being incompatible. Not sure that is exactly the case as they further go on to state it does basically the same thing. So it just may be a duplicated effect.

lol @Wolfen, it really is a pain doing all that, that's why I just search for a collection matching the theme for the run I want(such a wide variety, esp. given most youtubers post their collections) and then I add the other missing mods as needed.

Also, big thanks for this mod FrozenSnowFox. After multiple WH40K Ork raids, the whole outside of my vault is covered in ugly, green blood
Wolfen 5 SEP a las 4:06
Stupid me, was trying 15 minutes to google why this isn't compatible with FrozenSnowFox Tweaks... mayyyybe just a look at the mod author would have helped.
Then again, i am old and coming back to Rimworld after years and installing 80+ mods is difficult.
Thanks a bunch for your mods.
jpinard 15 AGO a las 8:25
Thanks! I had already checked it out and wondered if that would work. Really appreciate all your amazing work on this game. You are such a talented modder!
FrozenSnowFox  [autor] 14 AGO a las 19:56
@jpinard
I'd have to test if that's actually viable with the way I patch things and add a mod settings menu for the mod. At any rate its not something I'll do anytime soon with other things on my to do list.

If you want you can change it on your local copy. There's only one file in the mod, open it in notepad and change the 14-15 to whatever you like. You should also change the number in the path to match your maximum setting to ensure the patch isn't changing things that would normally disappear sooner.
jpinard 14 AGO a las 19:40
Can this mod be adjusted so the filth sticks around a bit longer? I'd like it to be 20-25 days.

Thanks :)

@Weepy
I haven't seen it used as thank you on mods that are still being maintained and relevant. So far I've only seen it spammed on mods as a thank you for which people consider obsolete (several of which aren't).
Weepy 10 AGO a las 17:14
o7 as like a thank you i think. Mod is awesome. Thank you friend.
FrozenSnowFox  [autor] 8 AGO a las 4:05
Why are you people posting o7? This mod hasn't been obsoleted.

@HyperKS
Bear in mind the changes only work on filth generated after the mod is installed. If that's not it steam might have messed up the files. Try verifying your game integrity if that doesn't work you can try grabbing a copy from the github linked in the description.
HyperKS 2 AGO a las 12:46
idk why but this is not working in 1.6 for me

Read the description.
GFreenD 31 JUL a las 5:43
dont they already do in vanila ?
FrozenSnowFox  [autor] 27 JUL a las 14:17
@Paolini
No clue what that's from but the patch should pick it up without needing any changes.
Paolini 27 JUL a las 9:45
Would it be possible to add mortar scorch marks to the list ?
Gorrister 25 JUL a las 16:14
Damn that is sad. This is one of the best mods I have used for years.
FrozenSnowFox  [autor] 25 JUL a las 15:54
@Gorrister
Yet every time I upload a new version it breaks things for people all over again so that's not a viable fix. I've personally subscribed to my mods at times to check and the files are there. It's purely a steam issue which seems to affect some people more than others. I had it once myself but steam revolved the issue itself a short while later.
Gorrister 25 JUL a las 15:44
This issue with not getting the 1.6 version happened with another mod I use. The author re-uploaded it as a new update of the mod and then it worked for everyone again.
FrozenSnowFox  [autor] 24 JUL a las 16:37
@Ueido
Steam has been doing that a lot lately. I threw it up on github. You can grab a copy from the link below.

Ueido 24 JUL a las 16:32
I've unsubbed my mods, Validated my files and reinstalled the game multiple times. Still can't seem to get the 1.6 version to show up. Got a bunch of other mods to update, just not this one... Then again my list worked fine yesterday and today it was black screen on start up so I don't know what's going on...
Ted 17 JUL a las 3:06
@FrozenSnowFox @一口吞掉龙猫 yeah reinstalling rimworld was the only way to make it work again. nothing to do with these mods i guess just steam and the game being WACK. I also unsubbed from all my mods after adding them to a collection so I could get a fresh reinstall. Seemed to work if anyone else has troubles and ends up here.
MRyfan 16 JUL a las 19:28
uninstalling and reinstalling the game can solve the issue of not updating to 1.6
FrozenSnowFox  [autor] 16 JUL a las 15:57
@Ted
@FirePlox
The steam workshop has been having issues for the past few days downloading old mods. I'm afraid all I can do is offer a suggestion on how to hopefully rectify the issue. Follow the instructions below.

- Manually delete the mod folder.
- Clear the steam cache, you can do that by going to Steam - Settings - Downloads - Clear Cache
- Restart steam and then verify the game integrity.
FirePlox 16 JUL a las 14:54
it says compatible with 1.6 but in game it isnt?
DeepFakkas 16 JUL a las 13:40
@Ted I have made a clean, fresh installation and I don't have that issue. Maybe Steam has a problem with pre-existing game installation, so as a last resort you could try that
Ted 16 JUL a las 9:05
Dont even know where to start. This mod and about 5 others are all reverting back to the 1.5 versions. Seems steam workshop is borked lately.
Brandon 14 JUL a las 19:00
Same issue here. I tried manually deleting the Workshop folder and verifying the game files multiple times, but it just doesn't work. Maybe I should try again in a few days.

This is one of my favorite mods, kinda sad to play without it ;(

Thank you so much for making this amazing mod—really appreciate your hard work!
FrozenSnowFox  [autor] 14 JUL a las 14:52
@Tyrant
I'm afraid there's no much I can do as this is an ongoing steam issue. The best thing I can suggest is to manually delete the mod folder then verify the game integrity that should hopefully fix the issue.
Tyrant 14 JUL a las 14:50
Same issue there is no 1.6 folder in the mods files.
BokChoy 13 JUL a las 14:56
I verified the game integrity, it fixed two other mods that werent updating to 1.6 on the game. Some reason this mod and one other arent updating to 1.6, and when i try to enable them my whole mod list disables. Very much appreciate the quick response tho.
FrozenSnowFox  [autor] 13 JUL a las 14:47
@BokChoy
Probably because steam is being stupid lately and mucking up everyone's files. You can try manually deleting the mod folder and verifying the game integrity that should fix it. For this mod though it doesn't really matter unless its somehow managed to grab some very ancient version. The core files should be exactly the same and it should just pull from the 1.5 folder. It should correct itself at some point I think?
BokChoy 13 JUL a las 14:44
any idea why rimworld is saying the mod isnt version 1.6?
FrozenSnowFox  [autor] 12 JUL a las 20:08
@oomfie
Yes it can be added or removed from saves without issue. However only filth generated after the mod is installed will be affected by its changes.
oomfie 12 JUL a las 20:00
can you add this to an existing save file?
DeepFakkas 12 JUL a las 12:58
Based modder, thank you for keeping the mod up to date!
Waddlehi 18 JUN a las 18:53
Hey, props to updating to 1.6 so soon. I don't know what it entails but thanks regardless.
LiterallyBeenVibing 3 JUN a las 14:39
fml, lovely mod tho.
FrozenSnowFox  [autor] 3 JUN a las 13:55
@LiterallyBeenVibing
This mod does not change weather in any way. That's simply RNG and the storyteller's hatred for you.
LiterallyBeenVibing 3 JUN a las 5:40
does this mod make it rain more? it was a normal amount before then i added just this and this alone and now it rains like twice every day or itll be dry thunderstorms ever few in game hours, like just way too much.

Ohw, Regrowth, I'll see if I can add them back or not, I had other mods conflicting with this collection. Thanks for the quick answer !

I think the safest route will be to stay here with your great mod ^^

PS : what happened to my keyboard (because I won't complain over my own fingers, it would imply it's my fault xP), my previous comment is so wrong ! xD Thanks for reading it successfully !
FrozenSnowFox  [autor] 24 MAR a las 14:42
@Daemon Trooper
I don't have any plans to do that sorry. As far as I recall Regrowth Core more or less does that with its implementation of this.
Anthaderas 24 MAR a las 14:38
HAve made a mod or an option to toggle which filth would or would not removed ? I would love a version where it's just "organic filth" that's removed by rain, the rest being too heave. (or maybe during stomr only, but that's something else)
If you don't have options do you know any mod doing that ?
