The mod was originally made back in 2017 for ETS2 and this is a direct port. SCS may have improved their vehicle colors since then, so it may be a more subtle change than it used to be. I'm not sure because I never play without it! ;)

Hi, Nice mod but i don't see any difference with or without mods playing ATS

I'm happy with the mod as it is and don't intend to change anything apart from updating it to keep it working with newer versions of the game. I should probably update the description to reflect that.

How is the color adaptation plan for American manufacturers going?

The mod should now work with 1.49. I haven't been able to properly test it with the new version yet, so please let me know if there are still issues.

At the moment it's not updated to the latest version (1.49). I need to reinstall ATS before the SCS Workshop Uploader will let me update this mod. I'll try to get the mod updated as quickly as I can.

I tried installing this mod yesterday I have been using "Real Traffic Density ATS, Dynamic Truck Parking, Trucks and trailers traffic project, More powerful engines for AI trucks, intermittent Long Freight trains, Municipal police traffic" all successfully.

I have put your mod above and below all these mods and it caused a crash right after selecting my profile would you know any of those mods conflicting with yours? v.1.49

I've checked the ETS2 version and it does appear to be crashing the 1.49 Beta. If the problem still exists with the stable release of 1.49 I will try to fix it.

set car_colors.sii file to contain only 1 colour - pink makes it easy to see vehicles using it - and note majority of car park vehicles and car transporter vehicles are unaffetced. The models used in those places are different to the models used for traffic and they do not use car_colors file. They either have own colours in-built or use a different source for colours..

I assume so. I don't play ATS at the moment, so I can't confirm.

In the 1.38 version of American Truck Simulator , it seems that the road traffic already regulates body colors quite realistically - except for the vehicles on car transporters or in inaccessible parking lots. I do not play ETS2. Will this mod affect the aforementioned vehicles, too?

Thanks. I cut each brand into own color listing file... then had fun with Jazzycuts mods and linked each vehicle to its brands colours file.

Hello,in my opinion, a little poor quality

It's a direct port of my mod from ETS2. I wasn't going to put it on the ATS workshop originally but people seemed to want it. It takes a lot of work to compile all the data for this kind of mod, which is why I haven't made one with colours from American manufacturers (yet).

Sorry, but why would you want European Manufacturers Colors in American Truck Simulator?

Would really love a variant of this mod that uses colors from vehicle manufacturers more prevalent in the US.We don't get many Seats or Skodas around here, but do have an awful lot of Fords and Toyotas and whatnot. Thanks for a great mod!

@TW Yeah, for now it's just a direct port of the ETS2 version. I might change the colours in the future, but it takes a very long time. Originally I wasn't going to port it over but people over on the ETS2 Workshop kept requesting it. If I get the time I'll try to do an update.

This would be great if it had some American cars in it...
