That journal doesn't look bad, but I think you should retexture it to make it appear more like Team Fortress 2-style.

I for one support the idea that the Pyro is actually a suit inhabited by a ghost. The ghost's gender however, is up for debate.

I think it could be improved a little more if it looked like it was more burnt or torn. Otherwise it's a clever idea, and I love it as a possible Fahrenheit 451 reference. :B

So, it is slightly larger than the bomb book, it is attached to the pyro's, thing (Forgot the name), and looks at the least, good.
