This was such a hard map but the logic was massive and the moves were impressive  Favorited !

An absolute masterpiece from an absolute monster. It was a joy to play!

Confirmed as intended solution :D
Mikeastro 2019 年 3 月 13 日 上午 5:33
@Nobody No-One I found the exact same solution as you :]
@Joric I can confirm the headaches...
Joric 2019 年 3 月 13 日 上午 4:15
I guess I like horizontal split more (ss_splitmode 1). Anyway, those coop maps give me headaches I'd better stay away from them.
Joric 2019 年 3 月 13 日 上午 3:37
Got it. The important step is to actually rename the map to mp_coop_* or it says valve_reject_server_full
Joric 2019 年 3 月 12 日 下午 8:47
Damn it. How do you play splitscreen? No controller emulators and other funny business?
Nobody No-One 2019 年 3 月 12 日 下午 4:17
By the way, I suppose it's worth posting my solution . Perhaps you can check to compare your solution with mine, @Mikeastro

Ah, with "first room" you mean that passage near the faith plate I guess?

@Mikeastro: Thanks for your feedback, glad you liked it. Can you explain you spoiler tag? I'm not sure what yo mean with that. :>

This map gave me depression, then my depression got depressed. After Mikeastro solved it, I was bamboozled for 10 minutes and feel like I have been reborn. This map is in its own league of intelligence. +rep

Insane. This map was pure genious. Very devious that you had to use the first room for a small step in the solution to the second bit (which was the step that eluded me the longest). Also, the amount of back and forth for such simple set-ups is just beyond mad. Definite favourite

@Mikeastro: Thanks for playing. Glad you enjoyed the first part. Let me know if you can solve the second half. :) To be honest, I like the puzzle but the layout isn't that good in this one. Maaaybe I will do a relayout/remake sometime in the future.

Oof - that first part took us quite a while to sort out. Very cool puzzle - really elegant. Now off to the second part...

Thank you for the long feedback! You're totally right about the fact that one player has an boring job. I recognized it when I played it alone and it was even more annoying when a friend solved the map and I played a silent p-Body. But I have no clue if there would be a way to avoid it. It would change a lot of the map and would kill the puzzle I had in mind. Unfortunatelly it's true for many coop-maps. This kind of puzzle often needs an immobilization of the second player. :/ Glad you enjoyed it anyways.

I enjoyed it a lot. Very challenging coop map with few components and clean logic. I personally found the second part of the main room harder than the first part – I'd rate the difficulty as 6/10 for the first part, and 7/10 for the second. But I definitely needed to think about the portal management, etc. a lot in both parts. I spent a lot of time running around in circles. It felt really good when I finally reached each major goal (lots of great "aha" moments).
My only criticism is that the majority of the map involves one player standing on the funnel button without moving much. When I used to play coop with other people, I always disliked having to just stand there doing nothing for long periods of time. But it's not a problem when you play solo. Also I'd have used a light bridge instead of a track platform for the square signage because I'm impatient and I don't like waiting for the platform to come back. :P
Anyway, excellent map. Thumbs up and definitely added to favorites.

Excellent map! I really liked the concept of using windows as elements of the puzzle. It is also very convenient, like using the sensor panel, personally, I have such an association.

Puzzle can be divided into two parts, both are difficult and require careful and thoughtful approach. All very harmoniously interrelated and designed. Everything is at the highest level, a real gem among cooperative maps in the Workshop. I would recommend it to anyone who likes challenges. Thank you for creating! :steamhappy:
