Well, I missed 3.0 and thought no one would want a 4.0 - but since you asked, I'll give it a go.
Might even add an origin, since those are pretty simple. :)

What @osarkthegoat means is that their is a signifigant graphics bug right now- the finished igniters are apearing as the right size and position, but the glowy green ontline for the igniter being assembled apears up and to the right of the planet.

@RoastAce95- actualy, it started as a desire to add a Firefly type system, and evolved from there. Cool as the Aschen are, I didn't actualy think of them until after I had it half-finished. :)

@Rabbit- the update broke this mod (in particular, there are some uses of random_tile in the events that drive the new system batty). However, the moment has been prepared for :). I should be rolling out a completely new version here in a few days, with a lot less bugs and more cool features. :)

not sure if its due to the devs updateing or not but everytime I use this I get spammed by a bunch of blank boxes something like 10 -20 per day, so as I went thru turning stuff off I cam across this one as I turned thing back on and when I did the problem came back. I am still checking but this was the first one that the issue went with and so I'll post back if it comes up again with another mod but hopefully not

Dont know if you plan to update it or not but thought I should put this outthere so you know

Just a small nit-pick, it should be "pre-terraformed". From Terra, not Tera :). Otherwise, a great mod!

In my opinion, you should allow this smaller Mega Structure to be built when you're building a big one (like you can do with Gateways), BUT you can only build one Stellar Ignition at the time.

Gateways are huge operations, but they can be built time and time again while a Ring World (etc.) is being built. The Stellar Ignition machine isn't big enough to be excluded from being built while you are building a monstrous Mega Structure, but it is too big to build more than one Stellar Ignition machine at once.

About the dyson sphere. yes it would turn all the planets into ice worlds which isn't fun if you have populated those planets.

The thought was more conceptual over a long term big empire game if you're short on energy credits. When farming sunlight isn't enough, and what you really need is to farm suns.

@Rampage- thanks! I'm afraid turning the igniter into a sphere wouldn't be posible, as that would turn all it's formerly-inhabitable worlds back to ice :(
I'm fairly sure there are other mods out there that alow your Colosi to target suns and devistate entire systems, though. And if there aren't, there should be!

Hello, fascinating idea!
I stumbled on it, thinking it'd be a way to detonate a sun as a way to wipe out all life of the solar system. But alas alack it is still not possible.

However, if it is practical: A way to turn the steller ignitor into a dyson sphere. Although this method is more for people who have modded to allow the empire to have more than one dyson sphere, and for those mods that make dyson spheres cheaper.

@csrr That's nice. Also i gotta say how useful this thing is compared to habitats in some cases, you can't build habitats around moons (like those of a gas giant) so sacrificing the gas giant habitat for however many moons there are as planets is a net BONUS

@rhos000- yea, but so do a lot of people. I've made some inprovements, which I'll hopefully (if nothing else goes wrong) upload tonight, and should fix the problem.

Very great mod, but it has an issue. For some reason, a few AI empires of my game had a home system of a pre terraformed world and i actually found 2 pre terraformed worlds out in the middle of nowhere, even when i hadn't even ignited a gas giant yet. You should look into this

Major update!
There is now a 30% chance of a world becoming a similar climate when teraformed (and a 1% chance of something dreadful happening). Also, you can no longer build an igniter around a gas giant with moons that are habitable or already have a colony.

@Hel1mutt- no vanalla code changes. The only posible mod conflicts I can think of is Real Space, but that's graphical, not a game-crashing thing.

@Albanian forest man- I don't believe that 1.9 has any diffrences in the parts of this game the mod effects, so you should be able to run it. If not, let me know, and I'll see about making a custom 1.9 version (and between you and me, I prefer 1.9 myself :) ).
