Im not sure if its a mod I have but my trains wont leave the map and despawn so since starting the game all the tracks are filled to the brim with trains. What could I do to fix it?

Thanks a lot! I usually am subscribed to several themes and use Theme Mixer Mod to create an individual one which suits my city project best.

It works now, because I unsubscribed from everything and resubscribed to everything only thing is the plants didn't go through and of course the map theme didn't go through. But I still like the map and thank your for responding. Also enjoy the wholesome award.

like Jensoo said, make sure you have all the appropriate DLC. I just restarted my SD build a few days ago (post-airport DLC updates), and the map still works as it should.

Hmm... I never had any problems with it. Do you also have Mass Transit DLC?

Excuse me Jensoo, I love the map but do you know why I can't use it? It doesn't allow to play whenever I load the map I downloaded everything on the required list.

this is an incredible map. the interchanges are perfect, which must have been a real challenged (i live in SD and the interchanges are wild). 11/10, check out some of my screenshots if you want to see how my SD build is going : )

Doesn' t the game offer you to use a vanilla theme instead? Otherwise I would try Theme Mixer mod and switch step by step to Owl's theme.

There are many free cloud system you can take for example f i l e - upload . net
and then you make a link in your discreption of your map. But no experience...that is my theory^^

Since two weeks i search a good location for a new map. i found it. San diego....i edit and i edit and...noW......a new map on Steam workshop ...San Diego....xDD your map is really good can you say please the x and y coordinate of your map ? or the satelitte map for downloading

@mincedgarlic: Did you subscribe to Network Extensions 2? Huge parts of the highway system are built with it.

Great map! Not sure if it's something I did but when I start out, most of the highways and interchanges are all broken. Huge sections are just missing. Any ideas what that might be? Thx!!

I get that theme message all the time. It's caused by some mod I think. All I do is select another save file then back to the one I want and it works fine....great looking map!!

Seems more like a general mod issue than a specific map issue to me. Sorry. :-/

Same but I have this with most maps. With environemt changer mod I click on map theme get the message click on another map and then back to this one and it loads without any issues (hopefully that makes sense?)

Maybe I'm just too dumb here: do I need a mod to enable the usage of themes? For me it's the same as for truth91: no way to choose a different theme.
What I can confirm is: I can actually start a game on the map ignoring the warning about the theme, but then of course the map is vanilla-nicely green... but playable!

btw: the CTDs have stopped, maybe they were related to updating mods.

I've got the same error message when I start the map!
The warning tells us not to start with the "standard theme".
The problem is, that I can't even choose your custom theme, so maybe that helps?

Tried opening a new city again some minutes ago. Everything works fine. I even used theme mixer mod to play around with OWL's LA theme, Springwood and some others.

I tried two or three other themes while creating the map, I remember. Nevertheless this warning should be harmless. :)

Just tried to and got a CTD late in the loading process with no error message...:-(
But this maybe just my experience. I'll wait for other - hopefully more successful - comments.

That's strange as I didn't use any other map theme but OWL's.

I sometimes get these message with other maps downlaoded from here. I usually just skip it and everything works fine for me.

Hi, the map looks so great I dierctly wanted to start on it... I also subscribed and enabled Owl's LA Map theme...

Unfortunately, the game warns me that "the custom map theme used by this map or save is missing"...

Any ideas?
