I just reinstalled yesterday, all of the old blueprints are not really compatible with the current updates, its quite easy to make bases work again as they should be however its a whole different case with ships.

Ingame one is not airtight. all my crops are died.

These posters are griefing me. I dont even know how to get them, and not sure if they are available in RE.

Excellent build, but lacks some newer QoL features, such as linked storage containers.

Depending on how your base is placed, there are 5 possible air leaks: the core and 2 large fuel tanks. It took me a bit, but those items are not air tight and the way my base was situated, they were above ground. 5 cement blocks and problem solved.

Just FYI, This might be related to recent changes in Reforged/Eden (as it has been some time since I spawned this BP), but the fuel tanks below the large constructor are now leaking radiation (about 2.1, so still take slight radiation even with light armor on) when you stand next to it. My fix was to move those 2 tanks from under the large constructor to near the main entrance stairs below and behind the small black storage box, then upgraded a couple of the wood blocks close to the edge to concrete for protection.

Thank you Lady Aedra, Eternity, Kacey, and Destroileur! To be honest, this creation is so old now I would not be surprised it has issues. I may take a look at it thou and see if it can be fixed easy enough with the O2 problem. However, it was also not built for the newer storage systems/wifi etc. Those things just didn't exist in the game when the base was made. And thanks again all!

For oxygen concerns, it's just two blocks below the constructor to replace!

Hey JRandall, thanks for your time and effort in these builds, I use a lot of your stuff. Unfortunately I'm having trouble with this one though. The base isn't ventilating/filling up with O2 meaning I'm unable to grow anything. Any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry for all the comments, yes, it is definitely modified, it costs quite a bit more than this one.

Although, the blueprint for the prefab required 20 concrete grow plots so I suspect that they modified it to have 20 plots and other stuff.

Last I checked (yesterday) they made this one of the prefabs. Really Cool!

Whats the R on the floor for? the M is for Medical im guessing but not sure about the R

It was my pleasure, jrandall! This BA saved my life more than once so far. By the way, I didn't know this blueprint were so "old". I started to play only about one month, so what BA would you recommend? :)

Thank you MacShell! This was built a long time ago before there was such things as CPU tier blocks, so no planning was involved in coming up for a home for them. I should look at sometime and maybe get an update out. Also keep in mind the storage is old school cargo boxes and not new container controllers. Thanks again!

This worked for me for a LONG time before I outgrew it. Then I went on to Waypoint Compound. This is a great starter base. You'll need to add to it but it great for starting off.

The Far point that comes with the game has always been my go to base far awhile now. However it's no longer air tight. Air escapes below the cargo containers. Just go into god mode and add blocks under them or dig under the base and add them.

Thank you Vaelin and rlb! @rib, This blueprint is pretty old now. I think patches to the game have messed with it and it doesn't have updated storage etc. I am not sure if I want to update this, or build a new one like it. lol. Thanks again!

I don't know if this has been noted before, but when I placed this in survival, the cargo containers were only 250SU each. On closer inspection jk multitool mutilage lmao, I discovered that the base somehow uses SV/HV containers.
Not an issue for me, I just removed them and replaced them with a few controllers, but kinda weird.

For my first Workshop submission, I modded FoeKilla's "Farther Point" adaptation of your work so it would serve as an "underground" hangar. Let me know what you think!

Nevermind, I just forgot to turn Oxygen on......

I've noticed the same thing as Dronysus, however I think it's because I don't have grow pots in the sections. I'll report if filling the farm plots fixes the O2 issue

Dronysus, make sure you have enough oxygen in the tanks for the initial fill. If you don't, the O2 bubbles will flash on for a second and then go away. You need to have 1,308 in the tanks before you can fill the whole base. I've been tripped up by that mechanic a couple times.

When I click show air tight blocks, the entire base shows air tight, but it won't hold oxygen. Can't figure it out.

This base in alpha 9 is not air tight. Never had any problem before. I have looked and looked and cannot for the life of me find the leak. Hate it because I like this base.

Wow JRandall, very nice job man. I love the design. I have been looking for solar type bases that would have plenty of storage to get us going plus room for expansion for future. Also the farm capability. So very nice job.

I can add it as a modded version if your would like as well, like the one listed in the description. @all, I know it is out of date at the time. I am planning on addressing that as well as bunch of other creations once I know for sure what will happen with the CPU. In this case I don't think CPU would be an issue thou. I am not sure when thou. Been really focusing on new things designed ground up to work with alpha 9. Thanks again all!

@jrandall I'd like your permission to post an updated version of this with all the alpha 9 ammenties and a little tweak here and there to suit how I prefer things.

Used this for my starter base and have really enjoyed it. Everything is very accessable, looks good and is very functional.

If you ever go back to it to touch it up, I'd love to see it expanded a little to fit the newer additions like a dissasembler, furnace and wifi storage.

Got some rad buildup when going near where the fuel tanks were. Just Fyi.
