OKay, so I was hoping to revive Nordic paganism in the High medieval era. I had a few stunning early succeses, but things fell down fast after I got a Catholic revolt on my hands and things did not go very smooth. I got captured, but I broke out of prison by going berserk in my jail.. It was too late, because my capital and my army was finito. Now I really have a situation were this mod has a real use and natural flow of things.

Does this work multiplayer?

You might want to know that there is a soft cap on how many mods you can have, after a certain number, I think 50 or something like that, no more mods will appear in the launcher. Also, unsubscribing from them often doesn't actually get rid of them in the launcher to free up more space, so you often have to manually delete mods after unsubscribing from them.

I'm not sure for the holy order one, but for the merc company you can maybe look at the code for the "Mercenary Kings" mod. It hasn't been updated for a LONG time, but the coding may be relevant. As for the courtier, you can probably look at the "Play as Courtier" mod, which I read uses your mod as a base so there may be something there

Yes, that was my ultimate goal with this mod. To be able to become a courtier, a merc or join a holy order etc. However I have not been able to figure out the code for that.

As long as you are in a war, it will be there.

Would it be possible that, once you lose your land, you can start your own merc band and become warriors-for-hire?

I can't seem to get the decision to show up on the intrigue menu. I took off every mod and it still doesn't give me a decision.

What about holy orders?

Thanks. This prevents the annoying gameover when I observe games and switch to the wrong character, usually by flipping two numbers. Ending the game on a random turkish courtier was really annoying.

Curious why the decision to go landless in war as I have code in my mod to automatically make you landless if you lose your last demesne through war.

Or, instead of being a troll, maybe he did have that happen, but something else caused it? I don't really see that as a troll comment, just a warning, if possibly an incorrect one.

"When you are at war you get a new decision in your intrigue menu which is to abandon your realm.
Then you can right click on the CoA of Kingdom and Empires and there you should have a decision to move your court there."

Started a game with Surrey, lost surrey and the game ended; I have this mod installed and active, so it didn't do what it said on the tin. Four DLCs are active (Conclave, the Roman one and two more common ones)

Heres a suggestion if you're up for it.
At the start of the game it lets you choose a province to rule but what if there was a way to start as a courtier inside? My suggestion is to add that option : )

While it definitely needs some work i can say i did have some fun with this mod going from a homeless bum to a master seducer that managed to bed his way into a Duchy

@Ragnarokkr no it doesnt it creates a bug that makes you are heirless even if you have a child. kids you start the game with will still be your heirs but any kids after that will not register as an heir to your throne

i have three questions first for the start a buisness choice in find a job does actually do anything second the manual labor one doesnt give any money thrid how do you get find zeolots for holy war as shown in screenshots it just shows look for jobs in court which also doesnt seem to do anything i might have to waait longer but for the buisness one i waited a good three years

Sounds fantastic. Often wanted something like this. Uprating for the idea alone. I hope you manage to make it rich and seamless with vanilla.

Something to definetly keep an eye on. Love this idea. Like in real life, it's not necessarily over if you lose your holding. There's always some scheming or bribing that could be done.

I've been enjoying the roleplay aspect of being Landless, however, I had fabricated a claim on a county, which I declared war on. Then I hired so mercenaries, couldn't find them. So I clicked on the button which would select them, and sent them to invade the place I wanted, they didn't exist. Please fix the mercenaries for landless characters.

Hey! I love the idea; playing a landless couriter has been something I've wanted since the beginning. I have a bit of modding experience, and would love to offer my help with events and localization specifically, though I'm sure I could work on other aspects (decisions, casus bellorum, etc) as well if necessary.
