You can not add new characters to the vanilla game.

i noticed that he reads the texture portrait from my Space version.
If you really want to play with the firefighter version right now, you can locate FoundryWorker_Aldridge.upl in your Steam/Steamapps/Common/KillingFloor/System , opening up the upl with like notepad or something. replace this line:
Portrait=KF_SpaceSoldiers_Trip_T.Portraits.SpaceWorker_Portrait
With this one:
Portrait=KFPortraits.foundry_portrait
If this seems like to much work for anyone (which shouldnt be), you can wait for a update.
You can also just verify cache and try again.
I know its really bullcrap that it works like that but whatever. If someone makes them as a custom character (or i do in a later time as a pack), then they well indeed use their own hands.
@ Welli: Subscribe and open KF, let it download, then close the game. When you open KF, both skins well now be replaced.
I usually just remake lost skins and im out of the ones i want.
