This is a great mod, thank you :D If you're taking suggestions, I think this would be more immersive if we had the option to turn off the sounds of the trees and stones getting demolished by the followers, as sometimes it sounds like I have a group of angry bulldozers behind me!

Oh gosh, thank you SO MUCH for this mod.

Took me a while to get around to this, I apologize, life has been busy! Fliers seem to be malfunctioning, but only while they're following. So if you have this issue, try getting the creature to stop following you and then land, or command it to land. :) I'll see what I can do to fix it. :)

there seems to be a bug with flyers and the never stuck costume, had it happen on The Island with a Quetz and now with an Argi on Scorched Earth. the bug seems to be that with the costume (possibly the gun as well) on flyers do not land, but when i take the costume off....they can land.

What other mods are you using? I still can't replicate any of these issues.

I had to "destroy wild dinos" followed by a search to find my lost Christmas Diplo. Teleport to the given coordinates and my guy is about 2 Giga's tall in the air above a forest. I fly up, bump his foot and zips off into the ether again. Wipe-find-teleport. I removed the buff and when I touched him this time he didn't teleport.
Got back to my herd and it had happened to a couple more dinos that had some gear on them. I was able to do the same thing with those so I didn't lose any gear or tames.

I absolutely love the idea and it worked for a little while. The forest has a nice swath through it.

Just loaded up Ragnarok with only Never Stuck installed. Worked fine for me. Try verifying your files or try a different map if you're using a mod map.

Dont work for me too. I tried only this Mod but when i press "Singleplayer" the Game does nothing, like its freezing. When i remove the Mod, the Game loads instantly.

I just tested it on Ragnarok and it seems to be working fine. Please make sure your dinos are on follow or it won't work. Also, another mod might be interfering if it does anything to mess with the damage types at the base level. If you tell me your mods I might be able to figure out likely ones that could cause it. Thanks!

I can no longer tolerate dinos getting stuck when they follow me. After almost two hours of searching I finally find a mod that comes close to what I'm looking for and that perfectly describes the problem situation. I'm still so frustrated that such a great game has such cheap gameplay elements (dino follow you in straight line).

But I don't think I'm going to use this mod if my follower dinos really destroy obstacles in their path, it's excessive for my taste!

What I would like is:

1. Change the teleportation conditions of dinos when they are stuck. Apparently if they get stuck from a certain distance the game eventually teleports them to the player, I'd like to change how far away this happens.

OR

2. Disable collision with rocks and trees of dinos following you.

I prefer the first solution, can we do this in the INI files? Is there another mod that does this? Is it even possible?

Today I found out that Eco has left the modding, because toxic people harass her day in and out with negativity about her mods and it has broken her. It makes me sad to hear and I hope she gets better soon.

Unfortunately no - the buff that's applied to creatures is only for destroying trees and rocks.

It's a Diplo club - it'll shove anything out of anywhere and toss it across the map if need-be. Good for breaking up accidental "everyone follow me" whistles.

Also fun for chucking friends out of your base. It can make a bit of a mess sometimes, so use with caution! \o/

Lol I imagine this sounds great behind you :) Don't suppose it also prevents my Argies from flying up my Bronto's ass preventing both from moving and risking my entire Bronto base when trying to cryo the damn bird? Probably can't have everything...

It'll only break things while it's following you - if you're using the costume it'll last forever. The gun buff has a timer on it I think, been a while since I've played. So if you're riding it, make sure it's on follow and it'll destroy everything. :) It'll only destroy stuff if you run directly into it too, I tried to make it so you weren't getting rid of half a mile of stuff and only things you'd get stuck on.

ok, my thilacoleo wreaks havoc on the map but I prefer it to getting stuck in the trees, it's a great mod.

is there a way to deactivate it when I ride my dino? sometimes it deactivates and other times it keeps breaking everything and I don't know why.

No - and I'm not too sure how to get it to do that, haha. Right now the buff is just using the roll-rat saddle buff to break things, confined to the size of the dino.

Could I edit the configuration of this mod? I would like to be able to break trees only and not to be able to break rocks, ores, etc.

This is a must-have since ARK monster AI is just the stupidest ever

The pistol dropped from my engram list and is nowhere to be found. I use "admincheat gfi neverstuck 1 0 0" to add costume balls. Is there a similar command I could use to directly add the pistol? Thank you!

Relatively new to ark...been playing for 2 months...that's considered a new noob it seems (seeing as their is so much to learn...mostly fun stuff, am loving this game so far!!)...but i have done so much research....always got google open in the background...can't believe i only stumbled upon this now!!
One of those tiny mods that makes a world of difference to the game...it's right up there with "flyer landing pistol" another one of my fav's....anyhoo...THANK YOU so much for this...this type of thing should have been implemented in the vanilla game...2 thumbs up!!

One more question please-- maybe answered-- doesn't seem a good way to search thru comments: Is there any setting to change it from "destroy every object in your path" to just ghost thru? Just wanted to say thank you so much for this mod. It's literally a game-changer for me. As silly as it sounds, I pretty much quit ARK before this mod existed because it was such a pain keeping track of tames when I had to lead them across the map that it sucked the fun out of the game. I was so tired of my dinos getting stuck on a random tree branch every 5 minutes only to have to waste time rounding them back up. No longer with this mod! Now I can take my hunting party out wherever I want and let them run through the woods, worry-free!

I love the pistol addition, too. So convenient. Thanks again!! :D

Hi, someone has a simple tutorial of how to use it please ?
I've subscribed to the mod on steam, meaning it should be installed.
But I can't find anywhere this "costume" please ?

Thanks for that, I was able to duplicate it and fix it. :D The update will be out shortly and you won't be able to eat them anymore. :P

P.S. I'm relieved that Survivor doesn't get the power to blow up trees and rocks.

I've attached a screenshot, and you can eat (?) it by pressing the E key. You can eat even more by hitting it repeatedly. You can eat more by hitting it continuously.

This buff doesn't seem to be resolved by restarting the client, only restarting the server will remove it. As long as you don't eat it like poo, it's not harmful, so I'll handle it carefully until it's resolved... I hope it's cured.

Okay @FuChang - I'm not sure how you managed to eat it, but I would recommend uninstalling the mod, starting your game, and seeing if that fixes it. If it does, you should be able to reinstall the mod after. I can't duplicate the issue otherwise.

So... you ate the costume? That shouldn't be possible. I'll see if I can duplicate it.

I accidentally ate an iron ball produced by an engram. Survivor also has an iron ball buff icon and a red Dino in the middle of the screen... but these did not disappear when I died or died and restarted.

I want to get rid of the iron ball and the red Dino...

Awesome mod! Great for transporting dinos on rafts. Especially with the flying rafts-mod

Hi Aurin, thanks for checking it. It's on my dedicated server via Ark Server Manager. Had to recreate the dino. I'm trying to think if any of my mods could have conflicted, but i only put it on a normal dino, a therizino. Wish i could attach an image for you of my mods. My list is: Death recovery mod, explorer note tracker, awesome spyglass, werkrat's spoiling bin, awesome teleporters, dinotracker, revive my dino, ark advance supply, upgrade station 1.8i, human NPCs, Classic Flyers and Structurs Plus... i'll try to do a test with just it perhaps and see what happens

All right - tried it on single player but the theri seems to be working fine. Check your other mods, perhaps? The buff doesn't change harvest options on dinosaurs at all, it only applies a modified version of the roll-rat saddle buff to cause things to break.
