Welp, never mind, I unsubscribed and resubscribed and it turned out there was a dependency I didn't have downloaded. Easy fix! Probably should have tried that before even posting.

I'm having a minor but very weird issue, where all kitsune guards show up naked holding a matter manipulator with a Perfectly Generic Item in it. When they want to fire their weapons at enemies, they instead place the PGIs. Obviously this is happening because the armor and weapons they're supposed to have aren't loading in, but I'm not really sure why that's happening. Is there some supplemental mod I need for those to show up?

Wait, just realized this mod adds two races apparently. I had no idea.

The Kitsune seem to have Hylotl fins rather than ears in character creation. What might be causing this?

I can't figure out how to get the Kitsune Rage tech, it's not showing up in SAIL or in the outpost, and it's not in my tech menu.

yes, most itens that requires crafting, furniture included, in my mods are crafted from my workshop crafting station, doing this way to avoid bloating the vanilla stations

Is your MkioTNT Workshop mod necessary for this mod? Is it the only way to spawn tenants via themed furniture?

In case anyone else is coming in with the problem that they just upgraded their ship and things are broken and missing (lights aren't added to the new areas, the nav console is gone, the teleporter disappeared) the problem is almost certainly that you had your ship "shielded" thanks to a mod. Do not upgrade your ship while it is shielded.

If you've already done so, the only thing you can do at this point is restore one of the three backup files the game keeps (for your player AND shipworld) or else create a brand new character, upgrade the ship, and copy the shipworld file to your original character.

i used outpost and space station blocks to make that preview house, i think you can get outpost blocks by scavenging random buildings in planets and station blocks from random space encounters

Where can I find the walls for building a home in this species style? I looked every where for walls and the panels for building a house and I cannot seem to find them...

awww :c and sadly you cant use that for the BYO's ship, FU forces you to use ones that have the crew slot thing, Kinda lame. dunno if you ever used FU BYO ship though

i have no plans to make ship structure objects, for crew quarters you can use the kitsune furniture, there is a bed there you can stack on top of each other

do you plan on adding BYO's support for FU? Or rather make byo's themed objects such as the flat bunks for crew spot? also I'm shocked this is still being checked, ty for that

the kitsune npcs are set to use vanilla dialogs and scripts aside from the greeting ones, and vanilla already have generic dialogs for when there is no specific one set

Could you please add generic fallback text for NPC's while talking to them because I wanna stop them from fucking killing themselves so I can complete quests and talk to colony members.

well not really, but I don't seem to hear that often from other species mods

and we do have the patch as well

so I don't know if the FU ship is what gave it away
but you can look into that with what I remember

maybe, or it can be an isolated case, check if only happens to kitsune or if it affects other races and send or check the starbound log

Yes I did both Kitsune FU patch and FU custom race SAIL patch. Still vanilla SAIL

there are patches in the frackin universe description for modded races, did you also get the sail one?

FU Sail is unavailable even with custom race patch, is there a fix for that?

it is possible, but it will be some time before i do any update, i have been doing other stuff and only checking for bugs for a while and there is some changes i want to make to kitsune

not without editing the save file directly and even there is a possibility of glitching your save changing the variables

in the horizontal it is Outpost Thick Wall and Outpost Concrete in the vertical if i recall correctly
