Not sure, but in cases like these it's basically the only thing that causes stuff like this. That or the user accidentally messing something up on their end

It's entirely possible that a mod you've installed recently has been conflicting with this mod or one of its required items, causing them to fail to function?

The item IDs are the same as the ones in the original mod but with "h_" appended to the front, so as an example avaliarmor1pants would become h_avaliarmor1pants

This doesn't just replace items. The mod you're looking for is in the required items list, as "species clothing." You need to install that.

It's not a mod called "Cat2002." It's a mod called "species clothing" that was uploaded by Cat2002. You should clarify that.

Alright, got to testing the mod to see if something has happened to it to cause it to not work. It works fine with no other mods installed besides the required ones and some local visual mods I have, so it's likely a mod conflict or user error that's causing it to not work for you all

I searched for the items for 'avali' and got zero results, and someone else also reported this not working...

Went and downloaded the steam upload of the mod and used an unpacking program, and it looks just like my local copy and the intended contents of the mod. Are you sure you didn't unpack the wrong mod?

There's no such thing as "skeleton" from a technical Starbound perspective. Their sprite is different, and it means that wearing clothes not made for them looks weird. This mod manually patches every Avali item, which is why I will never update it. Avali do have a different skeletal structure than humans, but that's an in-lore thing.

Everything worth doing always turns out to be very hard to do. It's a shame though cause if everyone did this then there'd be no need for any non-vanila species to be humanoid.

It's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tedious to make the item files, and I even already had all the sprites made by Skittles

it's on purpose, to a degree, all the avali items are cheap as hell and your situation is rare enough that i dont consider it worth the time to make that sort of functionality (this mod was UTTER HELL to make because of the sheer tedium)

So I discovered something of an oversight. While the mod does, in fact, convert Avali outfits to humanoid ones, it does not change them back. I was quite confused when my Avali character's Avali costume mysteriously transformed into the humanoid one and I had no choice but to make a new one.

Also, it only works on Avali tails, so even say a Kirhos would not be able to wear the tailpieces.

yes... this mod removes the tail part from any armor that has a tail when it converts to the humanoid versions, so that floating tail parts are not present?

unless it's from some other mod that also affects avali, i'm pretty sure the avali armor has a tail

i tried putting on some anklets using the wardrobe and i can confirm it does not work for me

its automatic. get a regular avali clothing item and put it on (as any race but avali, novali, or lucario) and it will turn into version that fits on humanoids. its a little hard to get avali clothes as a non avali without admin commands but it is possible, you can loot their bases for their lathes. or just go into admin and craft the avali clothing crafter
