And B) don't play as much Starbound! Along with the matter of I at some point (was a long time ago) cleaned off a bunch of my content, from what I remember

My future gun mods will randomly spawn, the AA12 already does. I might at some point make a separate mod that adds crafting recipes for them as well, but it's not likely.

any chance these will appear as random spawned guns or craftables? I really like seeing more simple weapons out there, especially with these sweet animations.

Because I based it off the charge gun mechanic, the stats you'd see in the game would look like they do on my first mod, the Glock 19: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1379820150
I don't know why that is, but this affects all guns that use a charged attack, even the original Charge Gun you can find in the base game without mods.

I'd only have the gun say its stats in game. other than that I see nothing I'd change.
