well, i the thing i need help with is actually someone who can code, becuase i get a headace just looking at it. also i made this base because i wanted to make something more dinosaurish. ive made the basic animations so if anyone knows how to code and scipt, you are free to do whater you want with this mod

i know, but these are jurassic park-ish raptors. the story goes as a mad scientist decides to try to create dinosaurs, and to control them he gives them human dna. which makes them way smarter and more social, which made them able to plan a breakout, they stole some old ships they found and travel the galaxy looking for a place to call home

a good idea, but avali are actuly more acurate, since raptors had fethars.

more dinosaurian than avali. no feathers, big heads with teeth.

i know this mod makes things crash. i made it because i wanted to add dinosaur-ish species to starbound. but my code skills sucks, so i cant do much about it, sorry. im trying to learn more, and will try to fix it whenever i get the skills, so i recommend to not use this mod, unless you know how to edit mods and read the starbound logs

yea, im not very good with the coding yet, but if you have the starbound log, maybe you can send it as a message or something. i might be able to find it out from there

id really love to be able to use this, but whenever i have it downloaded, no matter the race, the planet im on always abruptly sends me back to the ship and completely resets. if this could be fixed, then i would happily use it again

update is out, i readded the gun, but it still doesnt work. i think something is up with the gun. can someone with starbound.log experience help me?

i removed that item because after i added it the mod wouldnt load... testing....

Having unpacked your mod, I can see why you are crashing. You have 3 metadata files. One in your raptorians folder and 2 outside of it. Remove the 2 on the outside. Then your mod will load.

So you have a recipe for an item that doesn't exist.

if any of you who use this mod and it crashes, can you try to read the starbound logs? it would be very helpful if someone could help me with the problem. (since i cant read starbound logs. too many numbers and letters than my brain likes). i want to fix the problem, but i cant unless i know what the problem is. i thought it was a gun i made, but it still crashes...

also, the main story for this species, (when i learn how to make lore ingame) will be that this species is half-fuman, falf-raptor hybrids. some crazy scientist wanted to make an army, and discovered ancient raptor bones(or an ember, i dont remember). the dna in the bones/ember was incomplete, so he decided to use human dna. the raptors were hatched and grew up, and the human dna gave it a humanoid body, and also a human-like brain. after planning for a few weeks, raptor-human broke out of the lab, ate the scientist and the other people at his space lab. they aquired some uscm-gear (they possibly got it from dead paid security, or rescue teams). They used the labs antenna and computers to learn about their world. soon they came together and created a race of their own. the Raptorians. Humanoid raptors.and then they went out in the galaxy to look for a planet with "normal" raptors. because they thought raptors still live in some part of the galaxy

this is not avali, i wanted to make more classic, jurassic park raptors.
and i know there is some problems, but becuze i cant understand what the logs says,i have asked for help on the forum. hopefully someone can decipher the log...
