Found a slight workaround, if you buy the pods, use them so the game recognises theyre pets (Ive had issues putting collars on them until you throw them once) do this whilst the Pod Heal mod is disabled, then once theyre recognised pets reinstall this mod and now you can continue summoning them. Can't vouch for their healing though it may crash or explode or open a wormhole or something.

Hiya I found quite a big bug! It breaks Shellguard Pods! The character just holds their hands in front of them like a lemon with no pods and you can't click.

Please patch this/work out what it's doing! I know that's a big ask but this mods utility plus actually good pets it too good to pass up.

First use yesterday, all is fine.
Today, it doesn't working anymore.

Only 2 Mods loaded extra today that has nothing to do with the Pods.
And even after the deleting these two Mods, it doesn't work anymore.
Strange.

please tell where mod to heal in pod is, or please make mod... am 2 lazy to shake pod

Well, turns out there is some problems to look out for with this mod.

IF you have another mod that changes capture pod mechanics (but not necessarily changing the filledcapturepod.lua) it will throw an exception and crash the game, AND corrupt your character. Ouch.

Mods to watch out for (that I know of):
* Supper's Combat Overhaul (corrupts character)

Mods that work fine:
* Pandora's box mod (oddly enough)

So yeah. Be VERY careful when trying this mod. Make a backup of your save and test to see if it works for you before you dive too deep.

The pet is technically healed the moment you start shaking it, so you can cancel the animation :P
