@PRODIGY Not to my knowledge. The weapon is only inside the level 6 loot tables, so unless the modded encounter tables somehow inherit items from previous ones, I don't think it will.

I know it spawns in extreme level encounters, but there is a mod that takes the threat level much higher. Can the Cygnus spawn in these too?

@Sirawesome That was part of the inspiration.

@||| Fancy Owl ||| By commands I mean that the /spawnitem command can be used to spawn the sword. Specifically, you can type /spawnitem cygnus. You'll need admin privileges to do this.

@igotshose The weapon can’t be crafted. It can only be found in high level space encounters and by using commands.

@WaterCat It’s closer to a laser hook sword. A laser crowbar is an interesting idea though.

@*Yuki* That's definitely an option. Right now, the flickering is still there, but the starting and ending brightnesses aren't very far apart. I'll look into adding a non-flickering version.

I've made the flickering less intense. Hopefully that will make it less likely that someone will get hurt by using this.

@Nebulox Yeah, originally the flickering was much more intense, so I raised the starting brightness to make there be less of a difference between the start and the end. If the flickering is still an issue, I will definitely make it less intense.
