It's kind of stalled, unfortunately. I still would really like to continue work on it, but I don't really have the pixel art skills necessary to design the armor or ship or anything. So I can't really go anywhere with it at the moment. :(

any updates on development for this one? I'd be sad if this never got any love again.

Glad to hear it. Sorry it's been stalled for so long. I'm no good at pixel art and everyone else involved hasn't seemed to have had any time or interest in continuing this right now. I'm still hopeful we can finish it sometime, but right now, it's kind of stuck.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but yes, Telokey gave me the original idea for the mod and is helping with the lore and aesthetics. And I admit I purposefully made one of the characters in the thumbnail look like one of his characters. XD

honestly i think the pixel art for this race looks great! but i hope you can find someone who can do it better (Which should be really hard considering only the eyes need work XD)

I'm not going to make this Frackin' Universe compatible. If someone else wants to, they can go right ahead and release it as an addon to this.
Everyone I know who was working on this is currently too busy to continue work on it. The project is on hold until someone who can do good pixel art offers to help (mostly they would need to do the ship) or until I can somehow pull it off myself.

and you could probably get a friend who's good at pixel art to do the art for you, maybe even get them to make one of those make the univers e a cuter race mods! sry if thats a bit too much work for you tho

Also, another update: I am very bad at pixel art. Especially the very detailed kind needed to do, for example, the ship. I'll see about finding someone else who can help us out, but I don't know how long it will be until the next actual mod update. Sorry.

I don't think that would show up very well – it would look less like a bat nose and more like a big splotch. And if we made the noses stick out I think they would stick out of helmets and such too. But you're right, that could be pretty cute.

This mod is one I would recommend. My only quarrel is that they don't have little bat-like noses. (Granted it might not be possible due to starbound's limited character pixel size, but if it was, I would be ecstatic.)

Sorry Everyone Is Busy Lately, But Thanks For The Update. Appreciated.

Just a notice for everyone: The people who were doing the pixel art are very busy and/or seem to have lost interest in continuing to work on this. Which means I'll have to see about doing the rest of the art myself. I'm busy too, but I haven't forgotten about this mod, so please don't worry. I don't know when the next update will be, but rest assured that I do intend to keep making updates when time allows. Sorry for the lack of progress.

The ones shown are just examples. They have several different fur colors and hair styles already too.

I love how they look. Are there going to be different types of Tilio or just the ones shown? I can't wait to see the other stuff being put in!

I should tell everyone that, although it's been a while since the last update, we are still planning on continuing to develop this mod. We've just all been occupied with other things. But there's no way I'll forget about this project, don't worry.

well here goes my idea for a mod was thinking of makeing a bat race when i learned to mod XD

Now this is a pretty interesting race, I LIKE IT!!!!!!

If someone else wants to make a patch for FR support as a separate mod, they can go right ahead.

Also, I've Noticed a couple of mods which originaly didn't have FR Support eventually see a Separate Add on mod or Frackin Support to Give racial Bonuses. If you focus on the Base Race mod, I think it Likely we will see something similar Pop Up.

I Like the More Minimal wings. I've seen large wings on other race mods like Draconis (Draconis Race Mod), and Kind Of on the Avali (Avali {Triage} Race Mod) And Avikan (Elithian Races Mod). I Hope you Guys Keep your Take on wings because it is Totally unique as far as I Know.

I like the race, however, I wish the wings were a bit more exagerated or at least udner the armpits like Spider-Man's. Also I know you're not planning on doing FR support, but that would make them 1,000,000 times better.
