Just for the record guys, I'd love to update this to 1.0, and now that I've got back into Rimworld I may give it a go, but I was unable to make it work with Beta 19, so I probably can't get it 1.0 compatible.

On a serious note, I enjoyed having this while I could use it. Would be neat to see an update here. Or even the original mod author, which I just subbed to the thread there.

@skyler0105. Yeah, I know. It really sucks, but I can't make it work. I spent quite a while updating it, but Tynan has changed the way most of the XML works, and I don't know enough about Rimworld to fix the old XML files from the mod.

Alrighty then. I've tried to update my mods, but they throw up loads of errors and stuff, and I have no idea how to fix it with my very limited modding skills. I wonder how this works with RimRoads? If I build a highway with RimRoads and then settle along it, will it be an ancient highway in-map or does RimRoads have its own materials to build it out of? Ideally, it should be a new highway like what you can do with this mod... Hmm...

Does this change the functionality of anything? I have built a fairly extensive network of asphalt highways using Rim Roads, and am hesitant to use this mod in light of that.

Well one way would be to create a world near the roads, build some stuff in creative and then add those as screenshots to the mod.

@james76542, I don't think they'd work together. When I was updating the mod I didn't see any code relating to RimRoads. However, if you know how to make them work together, send me to code and I'll update the mod.

Has anyone tried this with "RimRoads"? That mod allows you to build roads, but the 'new' roads you build are the ancient asphalt type roads. If these two work together, it might be possible to patch so that the new roads you build are the roads included in this mod.

@Spectreblitz, I added "Restored" to the title when I updated the mod to Brta 18. The original mod by MikeRobe, is called "Highway Restoration" and now my updated mod is "Highway Restoration Restored." "Highway Restoration Revived" would be a better title, but "Highway Rstoration Restored" is funnier.

@imperialhouse200, I'm sorry you feel that way about a mod I created for free, given for free. I really don't have the time right now and I've passed my other mods (ie. Leeani) to Xen to maintain. I work full-time, where I didn't while I had a modding interest. You should probably be nicer to people who make mods you like for no cost :)
