Does this patch fix the ftl speed issue in 1.4+ vs previous FTL speed at which the original mod was designed for?

The first tier I now know works, but the last tier (the red core one) doesn't animate except for the fans

Yes I can confirm it's not animating, @zoomah are you possibly using a local copy and not from this page? I have accidentally done that when modding, just wanted to make sure you are not mistaking it.

And my Starbound IS heavily modded...

make sure you have enough space to place it and that it's the decorative FTL drive from the original mod. if you cannot place it, then either you have the wrong one or you don't have enough space.

So you have the "Vanilla one" (i guess you mean the small FTL from FU) out? You can only have ONE FTL

It will ONLY work in a BYOS ship AND you can only have ONE Ftl drive installed...
If you want it just for deco or not on a BYOS mode you literally DON'T need this mod

Just use the other FTL. That BYOS doesn't use any of the FU dynamics. And if you use FU, don't use that BYOS.

umm, this IS the version JUST for BYOS. If you want the decorative only version, stick with the original mod. Geez, these people don't read the mod descriptions at all...

Umm, use the BYOS instead of the default ship. FU FTL drives don't work on the default ship. If you want it on your default ship, don't use this mod and instead only use the original mod.

I place the FTL, but it mines away as soon as I place it. the FU version.

As much as i love that you did this, you made it BYOS only, meaning if someone wanted the old one merely for visuals in a ship that isnt byos, they cant. I'd like the BYOS version to be a seperate item, if you are willing?

Out of curiosity, what speed bonus did you set on it? Is it fairly high-end, because I like the appearance of this one much more.
