but a way to fix the pop up, press F2 and then when the prompt appears, press cancel
Once downloaded, you'll need to go into the drive section of the main menu, and click on the workshop tab. That will prompt your game to download all the workshop content.
Once its done that, it should show up like normal in the quickdrive and build menus.
How do I fix this?
The best way of seeing the route is in freeroam where you can spend as much time as you want without any time restrictions :)
